TIMELINE OF SECOND COMING EVENTS

FROM A FB BUDDY:

Elder Andersen calls for the return of the Savior “Thy Kingdom Come” April 2015  https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2015/04/thy-kingdom-come?lang=eng  (Quote Neil L Andersen) We live, brothers and sisters, in the days preceding the Lord’s Second Coming, a time long anticipated by believers through the ages. We live in days of wars and rumors of wars, days of natural disasters, days when the world is pulled by confusion and commotion....We rejoice in these days and pray that we will be able to courageously face our struggles and uncertainties.....Although the Lord reassures us again and again that we “need not fear,”... keeping a clear perspective and seeing beyond this world is not always easy when we are in the midst of trials....Elisha said:“Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.....Our faith grows as we anticipate the glorious day of the Savior’s return to the earth. The thought of His coming stirs my soul. It will be breathtaking! The scope and grandeur, the vastness and magnificence, will exceed anything mortal eyes have ever seen or experienced....May we prepare for His coming by rehearsing these glorious events over and over in our own minds and with those we love....I testify that He lives. “Come, O thou King of Kings.” (END Quote)
Woman’s Conference April 2017 – Elder Eyring and all but one of the Sisters who spoke mentioned being prepared for the Second Coming.
Linda K Burton April 2017 Women’s Conference Certain Women Today: Remembering and Preparing to Celebrate His Return  https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2017/04/certain-women?lang=eng   Certain Women Today: Remembering and Preparing to Celebrate His Return.  Let us draw ourselves near to Him by preparing for and partaking of the sacred emblems of His atoning sacrifice weekly during the ordinance of the sacrament and as we keep covenants by serving others in their times of need. Perhaps then we might be part of the certain women, disciples of Jesus Christ, who will celebrate His glorious return when He comes again.
Bishop Gerald Causee:  Prepare The Way:  April 2017 GenPriesthood:  “To you young holders of the Aaronic Priesthood, I pray that, as you serve with your older brethren, you will hear the voice of the Lord telling you: “Thou art blessed, for thou shalt do great things. Behold thou wast sent forth, even as John, to prepare the way before me.” https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2017/04/prepare-the-way?lang=eng

Deiter F Uchdorf April 2017 Conference The Great Awakening –
A few hundred years ago in North America, a movement called the “Great Awakening” spread across the countryside. One of its primary objectives was to awaken the people who appeared to be asleep regarding spiritual matters……The Lord Will Fight Our Battles - Brothers and sisters, we are the Lord’s “little flock.” We are the Saints of the latter days. Inherent in our name is the commitment to look forward to the Savior’s return and prepare ourselves and the world to receive Him.
(Uchdorf cont.) Therefore, let us serve God and love our fellowmen. Let us do this with a natural confidence, with humility, never looking down on any other religion or group of people. Brothers and sisters, we are charged with studying the word of God and heeding the voice of the Spirit, that we may “know the signs of the times, and the signs of the coming of the Son of Man.”13
We are, therefore, not ignorant of the challenges of the world, nor are we unaware of the difficulties of our times. But this does not mean that we should burden ourselves or others with constant fear. Rather than dwelling on the immensity of our challenges, would it not be better to focus on the infinite greatness, goodness, and absolute power of our God, trusting Him and preparing with a joyful heart .
Carol F. McConkie - April 2017 Women’s Conference- Sisters, come to the temple. If we are to be a holy people prepared to receive the Savior at His coming, we must arise and put on our beautiful garments.21 In strength and honor, we forsake the ways of the world and keep our covenants, that we may be “clothed with purity, yea, even with the robe of righteousness.”22  With the Holy Ghost as our guide, we will be prepared to receive the Savior in the beauty of holiness.24

4. Body of the Church Restored. The Lord’s church has also been compared to his physical body. After discussing the interdependence of various members of the physical body, Paul concluded, “Now ye are the body of Christ,” and explained that all positions in the Church are important. (1 Cor. 12:12–31.)

The organization of the Lord’s church in the latter days occurred on 6 April 1830. Apparently, this “birth” of the ecclesiastical “body of Christ” occurred on the anniversary of the birth of his physical body, 6 April 1 B.C. Thus, a correspondence is suggested between the birth of the Savior and the birth of his church.

It is proposed that on Easter Sunday, 16 Nisan, 3 April A.D. 33, the physical body of Christ was restored, clothed with a fulness of power and glory. (See Alma 40:23.) On Easter Sunday, 16 Nisan, 3 April A.D. 1836, the ecclesiastical body of Christ was restored, clothed with a fulness of priesthood authority. Thus, a correspondence is suggested between the restoration of the body of the Savior to a fulness of power and the restoration of the body of the Church to the fulness of the Melchizedek Priesthood.

This article has attempted to show that the dates of the principal events in the Savior’s life and the date of Elijah’s return in this last dispensation are remarkably rich in significance. The restoration of the keys of this dispensation was an extremely important event which occurred on a very special anniversary of the proposed resurrection date for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. On Easter, may we not only remember the restoration of the Savior’s physical body, but also the restoration of the fullness of the priesthood to the body of his church. (end quote)

Nissan/April is now the FIRST MONTH on the Jewish calendar. Before the Jews left Egypt, on the first day of the month of Nissan, G d told Moses and Aaron: “This chodesh (new moon, or month) shall be to you the head of months.” (The Jewish New YEAR is still in September - Rosh Hashanah -a- sign of Rev 12 in 2017 happens on Rosh Hashanah this year) Remember too that after the Savior was born, it was a little while before Mary & Joseph fled with him into ‘the wilderness” to Egypt.

SIGNIFICANT***Nisan 16 falls on Easter NEXT YEAR! APRIL 1, 2018 . This is significant and could relate directly to the sign of the woman in Rev 12 which will have happened the previous Sept 23, 2017. Since the woman we know is the church, and the child we know is the Kingdom of God on the Earth and in our day is/will be The New Jerusalem, then when she ‘flees to the wilderness’, it makes sense this is when that Kingdom would be ‘resurrected’ or reborn.

According to the information from the Ensign article quoted above about the Body of Christ being restored via the Resurrection, AND the Restoration of the Church on EASTER 16 Nisan – it would make sense that beginning the New Jerusalem would be a re-affirmation of this same calendric occurrence.

August 21, 2017   is the TOTAL Eclipse of the Sun across the entire USA.  It happens 40 days before Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement.   Forty is VERY significant in representing repentance.  It rained 40 days when Noah was on the Ark.  Moses lead the Children of Israel 40 years in the desert before they had ‘repented’ or ‘paid’ enough for their disobedience.  The Savior fasted 40 days.  It took 40 years to finish the Salt Lake Temple…. OR Consider the story of Jonah when he went to Nineveh and told them they had 40 days to repent or they would be destroyed.  They chose to repent.  As a nation we will not.
In between the eclipse and Yom Kippur we have Rosh Hashanah – Jewish New Year on Sept 23, 2017 which is the culmination of Rev 12:1-2 the sign of the Woman in the sky.  Ironically, this is also General Women’s Conference – not a coincidence.  General Conference be the next week on Sat.Sept 30th – Yom Kippur….
“Yom Kippur is "the tenth day of [the] seventh month"[5] (Tishrei) and is regarded as the "Sabbath of Sabbaths".  Consider that the “Millennium” will be a Sabbath of the Sabbaths as well. Rosh Hashanah(referred to in the Torah as Yom Teruah) is the first day of that month according to the Hebrew calendar. On this day forgiveness of sins is also asked of God.”
“Yom Kippur (/jɔːm, joʊm, jɒm ˈkɪpər, kɪˈpʊər/;[2] Hebrew: יוֹם כִּיפּוּר‎, IPA: [ˈjom kiˈpuʁ], or יום הכיפורים‎), also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism.[3] Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jewish people traditionally observe this holy day with an approximate 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogueservices.
According to Jewish tradition, God inscribes each person's fate for the coming year into a book, the Book of Life, on Rosh Hashanah, and waits until Yom Kippur to "seal" the verdict. During the Days of Awe (the TEN days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur), a Jew tries to amend his or her behavior and seek forgiveness for wrongs done against God (bein adam leMakom) and against other human beings (bein adam lechavero). The evening and day of Yom Kippur are set aside for public and private petitions and confessions of guilt (Vidui). At the end of Yom Kippur, one hopes that they have been forgiven by God.
One of the prayers given directly from the Torah: The leader and the congregation then say together three times "May all the people of Israel be forgiven, including all the strangers who live in their midst, for all the people are in fault." The Torah scrolls are then placed back into the Ark, and the Yom Kippur evening service begins.
Yom Kippur comes to an end with a recitation of Shema Yisrael and the blowing of the shofar,[17] which marks the conclusion of the fast.[15]
The Talmud states, "Yom Kippur atones for those who repent and does not atone for those who do not repent"
In Other Words:
So, I was trying to break this down into an easy way to describe the significance of the next 40 days to family and friends that might not be awake...
Here is a break down of the next 40 days: August 21, 2017 is the TOTAL Eclipse of the Sun across the entire USA. It happens 40 days before Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement. Forty is VERY significant in representing repentance & atonement. It rained 40 days when Noah was on the Ark. Moses lead the Children of Israel 40 years in the desert before they had ‘repented’ or ‘paid’ enough for their disobedience. The Savior fasted 40 days. It took 40 years to finish the Salt Lake Temple, Ammon wandered 40 days in the wilderness, The Savior warned his apostles that in 40 years, the Temple would be destroyed... but you get the point….
THEN, Rosh Hashanah – Jewish New Year happens 7 days before Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement on Sept 23, 2017 and is the culmination of Rev 12:1-2 the sign of the Woman in the sky. According to Jewish tradition, God inscribes each person's fate for the coming year into a book, the Book of Life, on Rosh Hashanah, and waits until Yom Kippur to "seal" the verdict.
One of the prayers given directly from the Torah: The leader and the congregation then say together three times "May all the people of Israel be forgiven, including all the strangers who live in their midst, for all the people are in fault."
The Talmud states, "Yom Kippur atones for those who repent and does not atone for those who do not repent"
This Eclipse is that 40 day warning!  Then the judgments of God will be sealed and poured out upon the wicked.

Another Eclipse will cross the USA in 2024. Seven years from this one in 2017.  Seven is also a significant number as it refers to ‘the Sabbath’.  So……

BIG QUESTION:  We know that September 30, 2017 is EXTREMELY important!  Is it the beginning of the Tribulations (7 years) or are we entering the last half where things will really ramp up?  Leaving us with 3 ½ years?  I do believe that April 2021 is significant in that the 7th Seal opened April 6, 2000 kicking off the ‘half hour of silence’ which is about 21 years – taking us to 2021.  If the Second Coming doesn’t happen until 2024’s eclipse – or shortly thereafter, then perhaps the righteous will be gathered into the New Jerusalem by then – and out of the worst of the Tribulations….

New information is coming to light so quickly that this is often out dated.  I try to update it as new information comes in.  The signs were set so that we will recognized them shortly before, during or shortly after they come to fruition.  Meanwhile, we lay out the events as we see them opening up.

REGARDLESS, the signs are happening in such rapid succession, there can be no doubt we are in the last few years.  We know He will come and work on the earth helping to build the New Jerusalem and be in Adam Ondi-Ahman and the Old Jerusalem several years before he officially comes in His Glory.  Those days are here.
