VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS SCALED TO EACH OTHER

This is quite an interesting graphic.  Remember that it was the first one (Tambora) that caused the relocation of the Smith family from Vermont to NY by force of circumstance with several years of failed summers due to the ash in the air, blocking the sunlight.  This and a couple of major financial setbacks led to the greatest thing since the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on the face of the planet.  So, when you have setbacks, whether health or financial or other; remember this little fact - and be grateful that you were not hanging out within about 25 miles of Tambora when she let loose, as a near-ELE event:
