THE CONDEMNATION OF THE WORLD

It still amazes me that people were brazen enough to kill the very Savior that would rescue them from their own sinful natures..... if they would only look up and live.

Just blows the common, rational mind.  But it happened - and continues to happen:



Some people never learn, and just like the character above, they will forsake the Tree of Life and reach out over the gulf of misery and woe, seeking after those who would canker their souls and take them from the "abundant life".  Second best..... when the grand prize was within their potential grasp.
