I AM A COMMITTED CATASTROPHIST

This is interesting:

Because the standard story popularized by Darwin, Huxley, and Lyell is that everything you see is the result of slow changes over millions of years.
Catastrophes and disasters are not allowed in that version of history.
However, the English words for such events tell their history: "aster" means "star" or "comet", and it was well known in the past that these events caused great damage.
I was reading up on a comet that hit England in the 500's AD??

Some good reading material for later....

  1. IRAQ,

Catastrophe is divided the wrong way. The word is divided differently: kata meand down and strophein means to turn. Catastrphe means literally downturn. The astro there is casual.

Your source could, with a little research, not provide such a blatant answer on whether they are complete imbeciles.
