Seriously. For people to stumble and trip over stuff like this is so astounding to me. Toughen up your skin, snowflakes!!", is what I want to say to those who are offended that Joseph Smith was a practicer of polygamy....
Seriously, grow up.....:

I am so glad there is a purge going on in the Church. It will be nice to have REAL people that are capable of REAL things once again instead of catering to the diminished capacity of the lowest common denominator all the time.
Maybe GD class will become meat-filled once again.
This has been part of the mission of the Wood Zone..... Throw as much meat out there as is possible. Those that choke, choke. Those special snowflakes just didn't have the incisors to handle life.
For those that could digest stuff, welcome to the deep end of the pool.... You are able to swim without become a Darwinist special....
What is coming will further toughen up those who are just simply anemic. We are pathetic as a people - collectively speaking.
Apparently Joseph Smith never produced children from any know women except Emma. The owner (Brother Sorenson) of one of the world's top genetic companies that happens to be in SLC, put his top scientist on this project over ten years ago. Their research of JS's DNA markers against each supposed offspring has produced negative results, except for the children from Emma.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.josephsmithjr.org/index.php/the-news/60-smith-descendants-other-wives There are many more articles since.
So what was these marriages (sealings) all about?
I never understood why this is controversial. If God commands it it is right. If God doesn't it is wrong. Why complicate matters?
ReplyDeleteThere is a difference between a commandment and a law. Go reread Doctrine and Covenants 132 and decide if it was a commandment or a law. There have been other multiple quotes by Brigham Young and others that state that you cannot reach the highest kingdom without living it. Also if you dig deep enough about why Sidney rigdon and others left the church and were opposed to Joseph Smith it had to do with the law of plural marriage. One of the men(I can't remember who) walked in to find Joseph in a provocative situation with one of his other wives, before the guy had learned of plural marriage.
