SEXUAL ABUSE STATS - APRIL IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH

Folks, it is not always the boogey man that does it.  Sometimes, it is a family or extended family member or a "hot" teacher at school.  As pornography pervades, it could be anyone who is acting out inappropriately as traditional boundaries are breached - as was the case with my wife's abuser.

And I do not bring his name up to beat up on him - for he has already confessed and attempted as best he can to try and make things right.  He has served no time for his crimes - though, to be sure, it is my wife (and those who love her) who have received the sentence for those selfish acts.....

Anyway - think about these things the next time you send your kid over to a sleepover with the cousins or even friends from Church, unsupervised:
