ANCIENT PATTERNS COMING ALIVE IN ASSYRIA AND EGYPT

This is pretty fascinating stuff.  And it can be correlated to modern  circumstances:
The Isaiah Institute Translation of Isaiah 20
Assyria subjugates the superpower Egypt after Jehovah’s prophet–servant gives three years’ warning.
1 In the year the general who was sent by Sargon king of Assyria came to Ashdod and took it by combat,
2 Jehovah had spoken through Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and ungird the sackcloth from your loins and remove the shoes from your feet. And he had done so, going naked and barefoot.
3 Then Jehovah said, Just as my servant Isaiah has gone naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and portent against Egypt and Cush,
4 so shall the king of Assyria lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Cush, both young and old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered—to Egypt’s shame.
5 Men shall be appalled and perplexed at Cush, their hope, and at Egypt, their boast.
6 In that day shall the inhabitants of this isle say, See what has become of those we looked up to, on whom we relied [ So 1QIsaa; MT to whom we fled.] for help and deliverance from the king of Assyria! How shall we ourselves escape?

I could be wrong, but to me this sounds like Isaiah is speaking both anciently of the destruction that was to befall the people at the hands of the Assyrians and of the future destruction near the 2nd Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Here Isaiah is speaking of the Egyptians and I believe he is comparing them to the United States of America.
Avraham Gileadi in describing the conditions in Isaiah 19 explained:
“Few people may suspect that the great superpower America appears in the prophecies of the Bible, especially in end-time prophecy. Yet there it is in plain sight, and just as prominent as America is in the world today. Where? In the prophecy of Isaiah under the codename of the great superpower of Isaiah’s day: Egypt. The two are a perfect match.”.(Avraham Gileadi, America in the Prophecy of Isaiah, Part 1. http://www.josephandjudah.com/…/america-in-prophecy-of-isai…)
Isaiah 20 is a continuation of Isaiah 19. In chapter 19, Isaiah speaks of the Egyptians and the Assyrians as well as the Israelites. Anciently the Assyrian nation was the nation which conquered through the use of “terrorism” and “fear”. Egypt was historically the “place of refuge” for the Israelites. In Isaiah 20 we read that Isaiah an Israelite prophet goes about naked for the space of 3 years. This is foretelling that the Nation of Egypt is to be stripped naked as well. The Assyrians or “terrorists” invade and take over leaving the Nation of Egypt (America) stripped to nothing of its former self. Those who have “fled to Egypt (America) have NOWHERE to flee but must be as the Egyptians (Americans) stripped of all of their former glory are left naked and destitute.
This I believe is talking about the ISIS (Assyrians) situation in the Middle East. Yes the United States is responsible for the creation of ISIS, this I believe is referenced in chapter 19 “In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together.” (Isaiah 19: 23) In other words an alliance is made between the two peoples and then terrorism causes the people of the nations to flee to the United States and several other countries. After several years even the nation of Egypt (America) is stripped naked and is in ruin because of all that is going on in it. The nation of refuge and all those that have fled unto it now have nowhere to flee or where to go to take refuge because the last place of refuge for them is stripped completely naked and is the shame of the world.
The current refugee situation was foretold by the ancient Prophet of God named Isaiah. We are being told by our current prophets to help these current refugees, because we soon will be “refugees” in our own land when EVERYTHING starts to fall apart and crumbles to dust.
