Devastating West Coast Megaquake Imminent Says USGS Scientist; "Beware The New And Full Moons"
Is "The Big One" imminent? Famed USGS scientist Jim Berkland, the man who predicted the Loma Prieta "World Series Earthquake," has a terrifying warning for the West Coast of the US in the wake of massive earthquakes in Ecuador and Japan that have left hundreds dead, awakened volcanoes around the Pacific Ocean's "Ring of Fire," and kicked off earthquake swarms in Hawaii, Arizona, and Yellowstone National Park.
"Beware the new and full moons," Berkland says in this exclusive interview. The "maverick geologist" says that 20 of the last 25 "megaquakes" have occurred on the dates of new and full moons, the result of "equinoctal tides," extreme gravitational forces that cause solid earth to expand and contract much as ocean tides rise and fall.
Berkland says that he is particularly worried about the San Andreas Fault in the LA Basin and the Cascadia Subduction Zone along the coast of Oregon and Washington State, where a long overdue earthquake would undoubtedly be accompanied by a massive tsunami that could kill thousands and cause billions of dollars in property damage.

WEST COAST MEGA-QUAKE PREDICTION FOR THE NEAR FUTURE
Interesting stuff. Full moon for this month on April 21st. Solar flares, EQs and a nice little full moon to top it all off. Just lovely:
The UNAM scientists are saying the same down in Mexico, saying that the earthquake will be at least ten times larger than the Ecuadorean one.
ReplyDeleteIf true that would be a minimum M = 8.8, which was the one that devastated Concepción, Chile, 6 years ago, and slightly below the 9.2 that struck Indonesia in 2004.
Methinks the entire west coast is about to unzip. If that happens, we would not be talking about an earthquake in the 7 or 8 range but including up to a 10 or 11 range.
Whereas a full moon or a new moon are preferable for higher earthquake activity they can happen at any time.
Guess we can scratch off being worried about werewolves.
ReplyDeleteI think the Japanese folks should relocate. I will NEVER forget watching live on the late night news as that tsunami was hitting Japan in 2011. Just when you didn't think things could get worse, it would!
ReplyDeleteHere is live news footage from a helicopter of the tsunami after the 8.4 hit. Stunning, sickening, and SCARY! Seriously a repentance inducer.

(Yes, someone misspelled "hitting" and put "hiting" in the title.)
What's so freaky is from the sky you can see the unsuspecting who are going about their daily lives driving...whatever and this thing is in the rear view shortly.
Shows us just how quickly our lives can change. I think so many here in the U.S. thinks this sort of thing happens everywhere else but here these days.
Nope! We got us a rainbow White House and Sodom and Gomorrah, San Francisco, Californication . Our turn's comin' and surely it will be the likes we've never seen or could even begin to imagine.
Repent, repent, repent, before God gives us a nudge to do it. Look at the lengths He goes to to try to save us from Satan's grasp because we WON'T LISTEN TO HIM!
And here is tornado footage like you've never seen before. A mega monster being filmed by an idiot who REFUSES to listen to the passengers in his car and leave. I would've thrown him from the car and drove away. And other people are stopping to watch too! WTFrizz?

One can only imagine the ones the Nephites saw!
