This rabbinical year just ended a few days ago (there is an ecclesiastical and a civil year in the Hebrew calendar).
I also want to comment on this point right now - Jeremiah 8:20:
20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
Think about the two festival seasons and the period in between. My Jewish friend is in town so he could commemorate the Spring Feasts (Passover)/Feast of Firstfruits, with his family. Both feasts and the associated events are associated with the First Coming. We have passed thru the summer (the harvest is about over) and the fields are about to get burned after the Wedding Feast (part of the Fall Feast complex).
The Wedding Feast is associated with the Parable of the Ten Virgins. This is the Feast of Succoth or Booths (every seen a Jewish wedding tent?). Hopefully, I was able to paint a vivid enough picture - I have a hard time putting what is in my head into words......

Hmmmmmm - What true prophet of god said he was coming? Amos 3:7
