IF THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT FIRST.....

I tell this to my children all the time.  No other success in career, schooling, sports or anything eclipses this.

For those who put it second, they USUALLY figure it out by the end of their lives when the thing they put first: money, fame, beauty/looks, life itself, things of this world all fade.  And it will - the only thing you can take with you is the wisdom you acquire.  Even knowledge can fade.

The sooner that other eclipsing priority fades, the better.  Failure in those other things is actually a good thing - so that the REAL learning can be had just as soon as is possible - and before death takes away the luxury of the ability to change for the better.
