I don't know where to put this but the more research I've done the MORE ticked off I get! Christmas and Easter ARE PAGAN HOLIDAYS! Satan owns them and has caused many to mingle the name of Jesus Christ with them. We've NEVER been told in the scriptures to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, nor dye eggs, nor attach and Easter Bunny and a Santa Claus to His holy name as well. LIES to our children who grow up and keep the madness going. Think of the qualities of Santa that are COUNTERFEITS to Jesus Christ! Present everywhere on a single night, has a good/bad list, flies through the air, sees all, knows all, etc. WHAT REALLY MAKES ME UPSET IS THAT OUR CHURCH LEADERS KNOW THE TRUTH AND STILL CELEBRATE THESE PAGAN HOLIDAYS! Howard W. Hunter put out a talk in 1995 I believe it was about how the Christians have taken something unholy and made it holy by hijacking Christmas and Easter Pagan holidays. HOGWASH and FALSE DOCTRINE! NO WONDER GOD IS GOING TO DEAL WITH THE CHURCH FIRST AND FOREMOST BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE GETS THEIR COME UPN'S. NO! I'm not being to strong against this issue. NO! There's nothing innocent about Christmas and Easter. People trample each other for SALES. Go into massive debt and depression. Attend drunken parties all in the name of Jesus to celebrate his birth. Here comes EASTER and there will be a devotional by the First Presidency who know good and well it's WRONG! I say STOP and keep the true FEASTS the Lord commanded us to keep! I have done away with Christmas and Easter. I don't care if family/friends think I'm radical. I immediately felt a dark influence leave me as soon as I made the decision. Time to forsake false traditions, grow a backbone and draw nigh unto God in the truest sense of how HE WANTS AND DEMANDS TO BE WORSHIPPED! Thank you and God bless.
