I have a coworker who is a FEMA reservist. He was called up yesterday. He had to quit his job because of it and was told it was because they were expecting civil unrest during the election cycle. He was told it would be for six months to three years. Lets check ours contacts and see if this is really happening. ..

According to the FEMA Reservist Program FAQ on their website: "FEMA is committed to deploy each Reservist at least annually."
ReplyDeleteIf FEMA is expecting civil unrest during the election cycle, why would they be calling up people to handle it from January through June instead of the second half of the year - when the campaigning really heats up?
