THE GREAT DIVISION IS HERE

Great are the words of Isaiah or anyone who quotes from him.  He saw our day:
2Nephi 30:10 For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people, and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire.

  1. I agree, Iraq. The amount of dissension recently within the church is disturbing, and will only become worse. Just within the last 9 months or so, I have been aware of 3 major issues: women wanting the priesthood, the choices of the 3 new apostles, and all of the legalizing gay marriage aftermath (ie, recent policy change). We just heard that a formerly strong couple has left the church....both returned missionaries and 2 children had served missions, as well as the fact that the husband had been a bishop.....very disturbing news to their family and all who knew them. I predict that next, we will see that the church becomes less "popular" and respected.....that persecution will begin and the lukewarm and the tares will be separated from the body of the church. Let the cleansing begin.

    1. We need to be careful that we are not doing the persecuting "for judgement is mine saith the Lord" (Mormon 8:20) of those who are questioning. I have seen great judgment and persecuting of those who are only asking questions in this Church. Are we not to seek for the truth? Should we heed the warnings about us and our rejections of truth in (3 Nephi 21:6-29) found in the Book of Mormon for our day? Should we give pause when warned of a cursing (2 Nephi 4:34). Please be careful for which measure ye judge (Matt. 7:2).

  2. 48. Near the time of the end, many of the General Authorities will become quite old. Troubles will start when three leaders will die in close proximity to one another. The new replacements will not be able to hold the Church together.

  3. This was said about one hundred years ago by President Joseph F. Smith
"...Without doubt the time will ultimately come when every man-made institution will be arrayed against the church and Kingdom of God -- the only institution of divine origin on the earth, and the only institution that will stand and remain unmoved, while all others will fall, disintegrate and decay." --Pres. Joseph F. Smith
We will become the most despised and hated people on earth. Many of these groups of people who seek our demise will be led by apostates who have recently left or will in the near future leave the church over these issues and others that will soon arise.

  4. Sad too, is the truth that those who once belonged to the Church and leave it, can't LEAVE IT ALONE! They become outspoken enemies and persecutors now captivated and tools of the adversary.

I'm a woman and do I feel slighted about not being a priesthood holder? NO! I get all the benefits without the responsibility thank you Lord.

It is a fearful thing to lead the people of God before God according to HIS ways and commands. Look at the sons of Aaron. Yikes! Get drunk and head into the temple singing and swinging censors. Get fried by God and your bodies hauled out in front of the people as an example. I don't envy any leaders in positions of authority and accountability for leading the people of God.

Besides, the priesthood is God's power on loan basically. Blessings are GRANTED by God. The priesthood is the power to run the kingdom of God on earth by MORTAL men under God's all searching eye and woe/amen (goodbye!) to the priesthood of that man who TRIES to use it for unrighteous dominion. Can't be done.

So, TOO BAD to the sisters who try to bring women's lib into the kingdom of God. Did you know ALLl of creation, including the earth, stood still and breathless in awe of Eve when Heavenly Father presented her to Adam in the Garden of Eden? 'Taught by Christ' by Ralph Jensen. I got so choked up reading what he was allowed to see as he was taught by Jesus Christ personally.

Sorry Sodomites. You'll NEVER gain a foothold in the Kingdom of our God. Keep provoking Him and reap the consequences. He will have a clean and pure people to serve Him and join His eternal family. Church members who sympathize are on dangerous ground. Pray for them instead to repent and be saved in the Kingdom of God before it's to late. Remember these wicked people wanted to molest angels of God who were protecting Lot and his family.

And lastly as I've pointed out before. Jesus Christ calls His apostles. Don't be found fighting against the apostles of the Lamb of God. 1 Nephi 11.
