PEACE ON EARTH TOWARD MEN OF GOOD WILL

This is the God I know......

My wife and I have radically different views on the nature of God.  He is perfectly loving (through His Son), but also perfectly Just with no variance in Him.  In a world of seeming injustice, perfection comes here shortly and CLEANS HOUSE.  This is the God I know - in fact, the Son - a being of perfect love does the dirty work in garments of red.

Here is some nice clarification I picked up off of FB:
My cousin, Julie Greenman has been studying Latin. She made the comment, In the KJV of the Bible it says, "Glory the God in the highest, and peace on earth, goodwill toward men". However, the literal translation should be, "Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth toward men of goodwill.

No, God is NOT like a doting, half-senile grandpa, who is sitting there on the porch smiling at everyone who passes by, including the neighborhood thugs who have been harassing the little kiddos.  Those who merit goodness are meted goodness.  All else will suffer with the wicked and be cast out into a place of indescribable hell until they find it in themselves to bend that knee and confess Jesus as their Savior (whether they take advantage of it, or not).

So, there you have it.  No smooth words and no false doctrine here.

There is NO salvation for devils and those who have tried to thwart the plan and have no bodies.  Sorry, that is NOT the nature of God - for, if it were so, there would be God and he would cease to be God.  He would cease to be anyone of relevance on the eternal scale.  There are many false spirits seducing many.  Many are abroad in the land - they know their window is closing when the wicked are destroyed and there is no day wherein they can perform their hellish labors for 1,000 years until right before the very end.

Which side are you on?

  1. Thank you IRAQ! I, too, have had it with the silly Touched By an Angel crowd who think God is sticky sweet ALL THE TIME!

They have done our children a great disservice to the point they DO NOT FEAR GOD or they wouldn't be the eye rolling, yawning, disrespectful, texting during sacrament bunch a lot of them are. If only they were more like the faithful children being brought up in Israel who at least fear God and His commandments.

It's HE who performs the thrusting down to Hell of the wicked people. Satan may help you get there but he has no power to thrust you there. Only God has that power. And "thrust" means basically picking you up by the scruff of the neck and the seat of the pants and flinging with a lot of velocity and there's nothing you can do to change the outcome. If He puts you there. THERE you STAY put!

YIKES! YIKES! YIKES! Read Mosiah 3 and it may be a good idea to be wearing a Depends or sitting on the toilet when you do because first you say it, then you do it.
