Brigham Young stated that our Heavenly Parents came down to the Garden of Eden and partook of the paradisiacal fruit and their juices enough to use that paradisiacal matter to return to heaven and create through procreation the two infant bodies of Adam and Eve. Once these two were prepared to be placed on earth, God placed them in the Garden of Eden. Since any and all fruit gets its nutrients from the "dust of the earth" or soil therefore the using of those nutrients in making the paradisiacal, immortal bodies of Adam and Eve constitute making them from the "dust of the earth" and therefore an accurate description.
ReplyDeleteNot trying to be disrespectful but could you give reference to Brigham Young's statement? Again, not being disrespectful in the least but is Brigham Young saying our Heavenly parents ate fruit and had sex to create Adam and Eve? How does that work? Anyone have any more to share on this positively fascinating subject? Because one fruit would bring about their mortality and the other, if partaken of, would cause them to live forever in their sins without a mediator/time for repentance/death/resurrection.
DeleteKnowing how Adam and Eve were "made" would be such a pearl of knowledge indeed!
