Regarding Bishop Koyle's prophecies:
"Near the time of the end, many of the General Authorities will become quite old. Troubles will start when three leaders will die in close proximity to one another. The new replacements will not be able to hold the Church together."
"In the end there will be a great apostasy in the Church. A rift in leadership will cause many members to leave. Something will happen to make members congregate in and around the churches, and at various other locations to discuss and ponder the great disturbing changes occurring. This will mark the commencement of the time of problems for the Church, as well as the time of apostasy." -John Jordan's List #49

"There will be great bitterness towards the general authorities. The leaders will have to take to the pulpits to keep people from leaving the Church." -John Jordan's List #87

"He spoke of Russia invading Turkey at this time to gain the Dardenelle-Bosporus Water-way. He said that at this time there would be trouble in Palestine or the MidEast, which in turn would cause war to erupt in the Balkans as Russia made a great military push toward Palestine and practically wiped Turkey off the European part of the map. This war would be brought to our coast line, but we would not be invaded at this time. However, a Russian invasion of the U.S. and Canada would come later."

KOYLE NAILS IT AGAIN??
Wow - this is disturbing. But I have known about it for about 7 or 8 years now. I just guess I never expected it..... This is gonna be a wild ride. Wood ya believe it now??
I don't seem to have a problem with the removal of the names of the inactive or already active, but apostate in spirit, members. They probably wouldn't miss the spirit anyway.
ReplyDeleteIf Im lucky I'll have names of the cranky and mean members who don't want home teaching visits removed from my list, but I doubt it.
My beef with the church is it's lack of support of the US Constitution and those principals.
You can talk all day about past prophets support for true principals but if today's leadership says nothing, the rank and file will believe all is well. For them, there is nothing particularly special about maintaining these principals or even have a clue of them. This is one of the many reasons why Utah installs liberal leadership and goes along with the Federal government policies.
You've probably heard this before, I don't know....but the church treads on very thin ice if it gets involved in politics in such a way; the membership may even assume that it is implying one or the other parties is being endorsed and greater troubles would ensue. What Joseph Smith said, "Teach them correct principles and let them govern themselves." When it comes to the law and church policies, as we have recently witnessed, our leadership is forced to make public statements regarding these matters. When politics and religion got too thick in Nauvoo and Missouri, we see what ensued. I am of the opinion that persecution of the church in a big way is just around the corner for us, and that it will result from the recent issues or from the persecution of Christians in general, especially if the Muslim influences continue to grow here (ie, being infiltrated by ISIS). DeleteRemember the names in the Church membership files are the earthly record of the Lamb's Book of Life. The names in the Heavenly Book of Life are written by the Father Himself. The work of this latter day Church is to gather in the remnants of the scattered house of Israel (Jacob) in keeping with the covenant God made to Abraham.
DeleteMy feathers begin to ruffle when I listen to those who criticize the 15 men the Lord hand picks to guide the Church. They're not in place to play politics and appease every "winter of discontent". Remember they move, act, and speak as ONE under the authority of THE ONE, who is Jesus the Christ. An attack on the Prophet and Apostles, whether physical or verbal is an attack on the Lord because they ARE supported by HIS OMNIPOTENT HAND.
If anyone thinks those 15 men are not doing something right, then ,THEY, speaking of the critics, are the ones who need to repent and ask the Lord to bless them with His Spirit to know that those 15 are holy men and that He, the Lord God, is in control and beg Him to keep both of their hands (the critics) upon the Rod of Iron.
The mists of blackness Satan sends out to block our view is getting thicker. We cannot allow ourselves to be judgmental of those who are inactive or active and cranky. You don't know all about their lives and pain and circumstances. Some inactive members can't come because of spouses who won't let them, yet they are faithful to pray, read the scriptures, do good deeds, keep the Sabbath Day holy as best they can, and then wait upon the Lord for things to change. EVERY soul is precious and of great worth in the sight of God.
All 15 men in the top of the Church Leadership are Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. DON'T BE FOUND FIGHTING AGAINST THE APOSTLES OF JESUS CHRIST!
1 Nephi 11: 35-36 (and look who's guilty of the fighting)
"yea, BEHOLD, the HOUSE OF ISRAEL hath gathered together to fight against the Apostles of the Lamb...............the great and spacious building was the PRIDE of the world.........and the fall thereof was exceedingly great.............thus SHALL BE the destruction of all nations, kindreds, tongues, and peoples that shall fight against the twelve apostles of the Lamb."
I don't see Bishop Koyle's comments on the "3 new members of the 12 and having go go to the pulpits etc" in your original post of his prophecies from 2009. Can you tell me who John Jordan is? I'd just like to verify this prophecy as it is very specific and timely. Also, amen to anonymous about not speaking against the leaders!
