When a person joins the church they are still Gentiles until the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost make each person who experiences this epiphany a literal seed of Abraham and thus the Remnant of Israel. Gentile members who will not allow Christ to convert them are the Gentiles who reject the fullness of the Gospel prophesied in the BoM.The North American Indians who have had their calling and elections made sure are the ones who build the New Jerusalem under the direction of chosen members of the church who are of the tribe of Ephraim. The only way any of us can come unto the Lord is through His church. Period.

There is only two Church's to choose from... you will know them by the "fruits of the spirit" (Galatians 5:22-26) or the "works of the flesh" (Galatians 5:19-21).

See, someone else gets it that it's some members of the House of Israel that still remain in the Big and Spacious building and is found fighting against the apostles of the Lamb of God. The ones who still cling to the world, support GAY MARRIAGE like Marie Osmond and many other members, and who cannot get both feet out of Babylon. Yes, it will be those members of the Church who turn against our leaders and members. It would seem the great sifting President Benson spoke of has begun.

My eye color has changed 4 times since I was born. It started out blue, like most fair skinned people do. Then when I was two years old they turned brown, then when I was 14 they turn hazel and then when I turn 40 they turn green and have remained green ever since.
President Joseph Fielding Smith expressed the matter succinctly when he wrote:

Get a grip on your speculations and go back and substantiate all truth by canon scripture, just as our Lord and Savior did as an example for us to follow, when teaching...period!
We in this church are a part of the Gentiles in scripture and prophecy. We are NOT the remnant spoken of who will build Zion, but those righteous Gentiles, who the Lord see fit, will assist them. PLEASE reread 3 Nephi chapters 16, 20, & 21 for your answers to these questions directly from Christ's teachings to the remnant forefathers.

This does not conflict with the scriptures at all but the Prophet Joseph Smith was expounding what the Lord had already revealed. The converted Gentiles are numbered with the literal seed of Abraham, entitled to the very same blessings as if they were born as the literal seed of Abraham. Yes, the born naturally literal seed of Abraham, the pure blooded native American Indians who have had their calling and elections made sure (One must be truly worthy to build the City Of New Jerusalem) will be the ones promised by Christ to build the sacred city under the direction of worthy members of the tribe of Ephraim. We must become truly converted by the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost, which will among other things, change us into the literal seed of Abraham as the Lord through the Prophet Joseph Smith stated.
