I was there for the open house for this special building in 1976 when I was just a kid. I still remember the light coming through thin pieces of alabaster - it was amazing as a kid. Now they have a visitors' center there. I think there were probably more non-LDS there than LDS the last time I was there this past summer. People just going for a walk amongst the gardens, trees and flowers.
People will be drawn to light and goodness. This is just one example of how God attracts and invites. Truth is attracted to truth - light to light. Lovely to lovely. Those who hate the truth will be filled with rage at such a thing.
