In re-reading the wiki article on shamir, I found this reference to a guardian angel to be interesting:
The shamir worm was also used by King Solomon to engrave gemstones. Apparently he also used the blood of the shamir worm to make carved jewels with a mystical seal or design. According to an interview with Dr. George Frederick Kunz, an expert in gemstone and jewelry lore, this led to the belief that gemstones so engraved would have magical virtues, and they often also ended up with their own powers or guardian angel associated with either the gem, or the specifically engraved gemstones.[6]
This subject is so VERY interesting. I read the Shamir worm instrument, if it does indeed exist, has the ability to write on stone without leaving indentation, the part of the stone that would be cut away to leave the mark. I imagine the stone tablets Moses was given was written on the same way and again to imagine the holy finger of the Lord writing upon those stones.
ReplyDeleteThat was a day of day when the shofar's were blown. Can you imagine being there witnessing Moses descending with those tablets?
So are we supposed to pray for help finding our stone? Is that what your friends did? How did their lives progress to the point of being led to and given a stone and told how to use it? Surely you know those of us who hang on everything you post IRAQ will want to know and learn more because we're spiritually inclined to seek further light and knowledge wherever it may be found.
I'm trying to ponder this deeply and understand why we need a stone when we have the Holy Ghost to open up visions and guide us. And yes, I do take it literally in Revelation about being given a new name and a stone. I believe what I'm reading here, I just don't know how to wrap my mind around it is all. Okay, I want MY stone if there's one out there for me! If it means being of more service and value to the Lord and the Saints in the Last Days, then I'm all in.
There's just so much wonderment and awe in the Lord's doings. To think that ALL things are before Him continually. To think that we are connected to HIM continually and most of us don't even realize it.
I'm almost finished with Hector Sosa Jr.'s book, 'A Change is Coming'. The Spirit testifies of the truthfulness of his testimony. The book is short and concise and he holds nothing back. Humble and simple, yet the visions/dreams leave an impact. I know this when I have to put a book down just to absorb said impact.
Hector relates the enemies of the Church are watching it closely and seeking to bring it down. He relates that most things regarding the Gathering will be done from a stake level to keep things organized instead of a major announcement from the pulpit at General Conference. Some will be left behind on purpose to help gather the rest to places of safety. Hector is one of them with this assignment. God bless him to carry it out. Some saints will remain where they are as their communities develop into Places of Refuge.
He also said that a very public sign of the first earthquake in Utah will be apparent to the spiritually minded. The sign will come 2 days before the quake occurs.
He says to watch for Treasury Notes and Junk Bonds to plummet before the "final release" that become the economic crash. He saw gas prices at $7 per gallon. He said for a short period of time a WHEELBARROW full of money will buy you a few items and then the dollar will be worthless and not accepted.
He describes the two plagues and how they look and what they do to people.
And apparently, IRAQ's foot dusting in D.C. will come to fruition as judgment is rendered there.....
All I can say is get the book and most definitely there WILL BE A MOVIE MADE OUT OF IT AND WE ALL HAVE A STARRING ROLE IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER.
