Not sure EXACTLY how this prophecy will be fulfilled in its biblical form, but we are having major toxic algae blooms here in the Puget Sound (Washington). Also, along the coasts of the Pacific. It is turning into a dead zone as much sea life dies and the rotting mass starves the oxygen from the water:
