CHURCH WARNS AGAINST FALSE PROPHETS - THROWING ENERGY HEALING UNDER THE "PROBATIONARY" BUS

Folks - this is VERY timely.  I have been wanting to talk about energy healing for some time now.

Years ago, I was interested in finding out more about the Second Comforter - so I ordered Denver Snuffer's book.  I never read it - I put it down after the first chapter and never picked it back up.

I held DS at arms length.  Something was off - though much of the rest of his message was on.

I will say this about JKR - same thing.  Part of her message is on - but the whole energy healing thing really throws me for a loop.  There is NO precedent in scripture anywhere to back it up.  The Brethren have said nothing in support of it (but also have made no distinct call against it).  Pretty much, it reminds me of the craze that occurred in the Church in the early days over peep stones (several D&C Sections deal with it).  It led many people off the cliff.

I would be all over JKR - but I hold her in somewhat of a reserve over the whole energy healing thing.  Time will tell whether I am off or not - but my warning bells have gone off repeatedly.  As with Denver, we have a really good message - but the poison pill is slipped into the rest of the smorgasbord - and it may end up making many spiritually sick.

Bottom line - stick with the Prophet and a majority of the Brethren.  I have some people that I care deeply about who live in N. Idaho.  There was an alpha male among them who seemed intent on bashing the local leadership.  I met the Bishop - and I kind of get it - this fellow was probably quite more well-equipped to be the leader of that congregation - but the Lord makes the calls, not individuals.  This person then led several families off the Denver Snuffer cliff.  I hold Denver accountable - he is DECEIVED.

If you are into Denver - please extricate yourselves right now.  He is trouble.  If you are into energy healing or other things that are not mainstream, please distance yourselves.  It is most likely a TRAP.  While I rail against him for the people I have seen him bring down - do not underestimate the cunning of the d'evil.  He has been at it far longer than we have (at least since the veils of remembrance have been placed over our minds during this mortal sojourn).

I know - the trolls will come out in force:  The Wood Zone comes out against his "friends".......  I have always maintained a posture of neutrality on Denver - then an oppositional posturing once he started the slippery slope of being critical of his local leadership and then the Church in general.  Do people not read their history?  Do they not remember their covenants?  There is a reason we are asked to maintain a tempered position in regards to our leaders.  Many are horribly imperfect - BUT, they are there learning, just as we are.  Many would rather not be there - but rise to the call anyway.  Most do not aspire to the position.  They are just simply obedient.

As far as Julie goes, I also have a position of neutrality and maintain there is a possibility that she is being deceived (familiar spirits, etc).  I call it the probationary period - where I simply wait for fruits to manifest themselves.  I will hold her there indefinitely - due to the whole energy thing until information starts to come out one way or the other.

As far as Spencer goes.  He was in like flynn almost from the moment I heard about his experiences - and have found out more about him.  Sarah Menet is still in the fold - in my book.  John Pontius, as well.  He gets special honorary status since he is dead.

Here is the latest article that got me spun up:

http://kutv.com/news/local/lds-church-holds-special-meeting-to-denounce-false-prophet

If you are in support of energy healing, feel free to comment.  Most likely, I will publish all comments that are respectful and that provide some substantiation from a scriptural standpoint.  I most likely will publish what I have seen as far as "healers" down in Brazil using something other than God's power to do so.  The one thing about my mission is that I was exposed to some downright freaky stuff.  Stuff I have never really gotten into on the Wood Zone.  I would love to record some of it.  I see it creeping into the mainstream of the Church and it borders on unsettling to freaky.

  1. I will be pithy in my comment: my dad does energy work and has helped me as well as a girl in our neighborhood who has seizures. I can't speak for those you mentioned however I do wonder if energy work can be misused as with any other thing which would explain your negative feelings. I have had a positive experience with my dad but he also stays very close to the spirit when doing energy work. I have also wondered about the others mentioned myself and don't trust them as I do my dad.

  2. I understand your concern because I used to feel the same way about energy work...UNTIL I prayed about it. A dear couple who are friend's of mine (a bishop and his wife) helped me find this calling. I truly believe its a calling and if you don't feel drawn to it then it's probably because it's not part of your mission - and that's okay. It takes great discernment and faith in Christ to use this gift and knowledge. There are many different modalities (tools) of energy work and what they all have in common is energy and understanding the laws of energy. My calling has been to learn and utilize zero point energy. Wow has the spirit been strong in revealing this gift and knowledge to me in many dreams and visions. It has blessed the lives of my family immensely. The gift of healing is a powerful gift and whether we choose medical treatment, oils, herbs or energy work it was all created by the Lord and the healing ONLY takes place through him and according to his will. Acupuncture, foot zoning, yoga and so many other areas of healing all fall under the umbrella of energy work. It's understanding energy points on the body and meridians. Very scientific indeed. But just like technology and certain knowledge can be used for good and evil - so can this. That's because its simply a tool. This is where the gift of discernment comes in handy. I have been given this gift in my patriarchal blessing. I can tell when I meet people, if they are using these tools in darkness or using them for light. I'm happy to say that I have been invited to present at the Christ-Centered Energy Healing Conference on Ogden next week. It's an incredibly beautiful and powerful conference in which Kenneth Cope and David Osmond will be speaking at....

For me, the time wasn't right for me to learn energy work until last summer. Before that I never felt 100% about it. Then the Lord showed me it was time and I witnessed the spirit so strong guiding me and teaching me my part in this and how it will help my family. I know during the tribulation period we will not have hospitals and medicine, we will be responsible to treat and heal our own families. I truly believe this how we will do it. Understanding Quantum Physics, DNA healing, and many scientific laws will help to understand this. Some cultures call it chi, life force, etc. but we call it the light of Christ. Its a real energy that flows through all of us.Everyone is born with it in them. That's the energy that does the healing. It's not the workers who are the healers, it's Christ. All healing comes through him.

I believe its our duty as saints to learn and seek and it will be given unto us when we do. I truly believe this to be the mysteries of the kingdom. I have learned so much through this about how His Kingdom works the way it does and how the laws work they way they do. It's been incredible! The more I ask, the more he shows me. I am truly humbled beyond words. It's been a beautiful journey for me filled with angels, dreams, visions, blessings and an abundance of the spirit. I have experienced more miracles in the last seven months than in my entire life. I was never one to meditate and eat holistically but then the Lord changed that for me and showed me a better way. I truly believe when our bodies are healed and close to being completely whole, the veil becomes thin for us and we are physically, emotionally, and spiritually transformed and in a state to have incredible revelation. This is how we align ourselves with the Lord and become like He is. We heal inside and out. Generational healing has also been part of my mission and through it I have received beautiful experiences with my ancestors beyond the veil helping me do their work. Bruce R. McConkie talks about earthbound spirits. Yes, I never realized that many of our ancestors are earthbound because of emotional issues, fears, anxieties, earthly concerns etc. that are binding them here. As they began to reach out to me in dreams, and visions etc. I was able to help them heal and go the the Savior. It's an agency thing, so Christ cannot make them go to him. I have been able to share the gospel with some of my ancestors and encourage them to go to the Savior and for healing.I have witnessed miracles beyond the veil, beautiful beyond description. Because of this many of my ancestors were finally able to accept their ordinances and progress. I truly believe that is how our generation will be Saviors on Mount Zion. I truly believe this will be the norm during the millennium. It's how we will do that ordinance work and we will be assisted by so many from the other side. The knowledge and mysteries we learn now will only advance the work that much further when we pass on to the next life or transition into the millenium. That's why we are encouraged to seek, knock and we shall find. If you are not seeking and asking, you will not receive confirmations of truths. These tools are definitely meant for the right hands. And in the right hands of light and righteousness they will perform amazing miracles of healing through the light of the Savior. It involves a great deal of prayer and understanding energy and all the many different systems. It also requires faith and the will of the Lord. Also....it in no way replaces the priesthood and is not even close. They are two completely different things and when you combine these modailities with a priesthood blessing (just like you would get a blessing before going into surgery), it's only that much more amazing. It's simple faith, prayer, the light of Christ and His laws. Nothing more.

I encourage you to learn more about it and I believe that educating yourself more will help you feel more comfortable about it. I also encourage you to fast and pray about it and you will get a fore sure answer. Fast to know it it's a good thing and if the Lord approves, and then ask if it's part of your mission or life. Some of us are given the gift to help others and others are led to those people to use their gift. You can ask if you are to do either.

Lastly, I truly believe some people just aren't ready to learn it or know about it. And that's okay. Our wonderful leaders of the church give us milk, and it's only through the Spirit where we receive the meat. We only receive the meat by asking and opening our hearts to receive truth however it may come. That is why the leaders encourage us to seek knowledge and study our scriptures, they can only teach us so much, the rest comes from the Lord. It's our duty to learn and pray to know truth from error. We have to be humble enough to admit that we don't know everything and so we cannot say things are wrong or doubt them if we have not sought the Lord in prayer and fasting for our own answers. Otherwise we live in ignorance.

Also, it takes great humility to not judge or condemn others if they have truly fasted and prayed and received certain direction for their lives. We will be accountable for that. My testimony of this gospel has only intensified through this journey. I have never been so close to the Lord as I have now. I have never received so many incredible experiences from beyond the veil and I have never felt the spirit so strong nor have been this humbled. It's a blessing!

I encourage you to learn more. A great place to start in addition to fervent prayer is the book Feelings Buried Alive Never Die by Karol Truman. Then read Remembering Wholeness by Carol Tuttle. These authors are both LDS. And the last one I highly reccomend is Healing Arts - A Gift from God by Tamara Laing. Then you will most likely have a better understanding of Julie Rowe and so many other saints who have been called to this work. It truly is a beautiful and sacred calling.

I would love to chat with you more and answer questions and share experiences.

  5. I thought the same as you....wow Julie...you're one of THOOOOSE!...yeah...ya lost me! Then I decided, after a chiropractor friend (who has also read Spencer & Julie & others) talked positively about Doc Bradley's book, I should probly actually read the book before forming an opinion on something I knew nothing about.

What happened was, it made LOTS of things make so much sense. It's nice to be able to see how some stuff works.

The book is online, as well as the audio book. Read or listen prayerfully, and see.

Far as Spencer goes, I had a definite 'experience" I can't even explain reading Visions. I just "knew". I soooo appreciate him It has made so many of us determined to be better people...and be better prepared. Wonderful goals some of us maybe needed a little help with!

Anyway, yeah...check out Doc Bradley's book and see what you feel. I think sometimes we complicate things in the name of progress, and it becomes the norm, though some true & simple things are right in front of us that may habe been there all along. I know the emotion code stuff has helped a lot of people...me included.

  6. As a member of the church I keep my eyes and mind open, but as a member and a holder of the priesthood by which we are supposed to give blessings and some have the gift of healing. I am not feeling quite comfortable in energy healing. I see that kind of healing exploding lately and so many are loosing faith in the priesthood power and the authority from God. So many are slipping into the glory of self healing and glory and recognition of man. Be careful...
Even in the scriptures there are examples of people getting in touch with the other side, but we have been instructed not to do it, because we will be deceived and its not done with the right authority.
God is in control and he will heal who He will, but if we start bypassing Him. The consequences will be eternal.
I am not very good in explaining and I am not gifted in English, but the truth is that I rely on the Spirit and that is just not feeling right. In my opinion.

    1. Mark G: I find your reply very comforting. Over my lifetime I have seen many "righteous man-made interpretations. ie: Word of Widstoe - against white flour and sugar. The Church leaders had to come out and say it was not doctrine. When Hoffman (in the 1980s) tried to ply his fake Joseph Smith papers as historical finds and ended up pipe bombing a fellow member who found out - there were many church leaders (70s) who tried to purchase Hoffman's fakes believing they were true. Bruce McConkie told his brother - "JS did not write these - I know JS writings and these are not his". Because Elder McConkie lived by the scriptures, prophets and the spirit - he was able to see through the mists of confusion. I feel there are great mists of darkness out there, people are sharing what they say are visions, dreams - with the whole world. In reading about sacred personal revealed information - our leaders have said they should be held private and shared only with a few. Pres. Marion Romney said there were revealed things he didn't even share with his wife - because he knew the Lord trusted him to keep them personal. What I am saying is - when books are written, conferences set up - by people who proffer from their "gifts" - I do have a worry - I hear in my ears..."money will buy anything in this world." These are the last days - and yes, there are many tugs and pulls at us - even the ones that appear safe or spiritual. However, we have been given the keys to safety - they are the prophet, the scriptures and our own privately held personal visions. Thanks for your comment.

  7. Good for you Iraq, its funny these people in support of Energy Healing are on here as Anonymous, I maybe Anonymous to but hey Im not claiming its wonderful and christlike behaviour, I think its the opposite, Ive been to an energy healer who was a member and felt so uncomfortable with it, nothing but darkness, I think these people are being decieved, even the elect will be decieved. Mendenhall's are into it big time and they are huge follower's of Denver. Ive noticed alot of people into Energy work are easily led away, even the adversary can appear as a angel of light. Stay with the priesthood, the priesthood your guaranteed to have Christ's help, and it is free, Please Iraq keep waking people up to this awful situation, people listen to the Prophet more than ever you need him, nothing good comes out of New Age Conduct.

  9. Sooo, I'm kind of an open-minded person. I like to get to the bottom of things before totally discrediting anything. When it came to energy healing, I wasn't weirded out, but wasn't convinced either. But this experiment got me thinking that there has to be something to it because I can see where it connects to energy healing.

For FHE during a lesson about using kind words etc., we tried "The Rice Experiment" http://www.positive-thinking-principles.com/positive-thinking-power.html. I heard from an acquaintance that they tried it and it had worked. After only a few days my spouse was so surprised and asked, "What did you do to the rice?" because the rice labeled with a frowny face was so much more moldy and black than the one with the smiley face. The only difference between the two containers of rice? We said mean things to the one labeled with a frowny face, and kind words to the one labeled with a smiley face. The key to the experiment is WATER. The rice must be cooked for this to work. From my studies of NDEs, people claim that everything they see is alive and conscious--from grass, trees, etc. What is the source of all life? WATER. This makes me think of the scriptures when Christ talks about LIVING WATER.

After our experiment, my spouse watched a documentary on water that was found on Youtube and shared it with me, but I am disappointed that I can't find the one we watched to reference. But here is another that I started to watch that seems to explain some of the same things https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59iuelCL0MQ The other one showed water being exposed to different "energies" by people labeling water bottles with negative or positive words. After frozen, this water was viewed up close and the molecular structure looked different, ones labeled with positive words had intricate designs, while the ones labeled with negative words had a chaotic structure. Water is affected by negative or positive energy (think of the percentage of water in our bodies).

I feel like emotions/energies can affect the things/people around us. Remember Spencer's experience with inanimate objects? The desk and couch, everything spoke to him, had a memory etc. These objects collect an "energy" in a sense. Thoughts are actual things that affect everything around them.

There was an experiment where scientists split an atom, sending two of its particles (or energies) traveling in different directions at a high speed. After the particles went a a certain distance, one of the particles passed through a powerful magnetic field. At the same exact time, the sister particle changed direction too, in exactly the same angle. This is proven to occur no matter the distance. [Dr. Lee Warren, B.A., D.D., Connectedness http://www.plim.org/Connectedness.htm. So think of how powerful the connection to someone with the same genetics as you. There is a deeper connection between families that is more powerful than what meets the eye.

I don't really "practice" energy healing--I've been blessed with good health so don't think about it much. But if negative and positive thoughts can affect water or the growth of plants etc., then I can see how positive energy can help heal someone physically. I believe that Christ has full access to the understanding of particles, atoms, etc. and "that even the wind and the sea" obey Him (Matt 4:41). I believe that by using the priesthood we can harness this power that we clearly do not have a full understanding of the science of.

    1. Very interesting thoughts and experiences. Reminds me also of learning of the statistics on what a high number of cancer patients had experienced a great loss before they became sick (death of a loved one, divorce, etc.) as well as even more recent research indicating stress and inflammation as direct precursers to cancer. I would call all of these "energy" issues. Perhaps we should utilize priesthood blessings more often in search of emotional healing and coping with stress (not just for emergencies), but I also believe that energy work can be a great tool for health just as so many other things we do to augment our health. I actually have been drawn to request some energy work from a friend recently, for dealing with some emotional issues. And yes, I agree that it may be used as a tool for darkness, just like many other things in life. We should rely on the Lord to heal us, but he heals us in many different ways if we are open to it.

  10. Iraq, I am glad to find another person who is on the fence with Julie Rowe. However, my issue is not so much with the energy healing, because I have rarely heard her push it. I have heard her mention its use in helping her. I personally have not really looked into energy healing, yet. I like Julie Rowe's message, but it is nothing new. It's nothing I have not already heard. I guess the part that bothers me is how often she claims to know something but "I can't talk about that" or "I know but would rather not say" type of statements. Something about that message doesn't sit well with me. Perhaps it is just me, I don't know. I am not saying she is wrong by any means. Her message is an echo of what I already believe. I just have not had the spiritual confirmation like I've had with "Spencer", John Pontius and Sara Menet. Just my two cents. Now I hope I don't get accused of being a "troll", because it hasn't happened for me yet!

  11. I have a problem with this. I had grandparents (deceased) who were into "Energy" healings etc. They were "Jack Mormons" and constantly bashed the Church. Both went to their graves not active in the Church, although they were baptized members. I remember as a child and teen hearing my grandma talk about "Energy" and I always thought she was weird. I felt something was not right. There was no active Priesthood in their home. There was much discussion of supernatural stuff, the Urantia book, and many other fringe topics. I know there are LDS people being deceived all the time with "Energy" healings, "Personal Empowerment Seminars" and other issues that the LDS Church has come out and directly stated these are not wise to be associated with. The BIG question I have is if someone is truly living "close to the Spirit", and is a worthy Melchizedek Priesthood Holder, WHY in the world would someone need "Energy"? That makes absolutely NO Sense!!! That directly shows a lack of faith in the Priesthood. The Priesthood is the POWER OF GOD. Nothing else is needed! The Priesthood is based on 1) The will of God, and 2) personal worthiness of the individual giving the Priesthood blessing. We've been instructed regarding this in General Conference many times. But, sadly, there are some who feel they "need" additional things beside the Priesthood to heal etc. During the tribulation, we will need to be 1) Worthy, and 2) actually USE the Priesthood and exercise much faith. We won't need any counterfeits like "Energy Healings", and that's exactly what they are...counterfeits.

  12. I'd like to reiterate that energy healing is a tool, not the priesthood or replacement of the people. Just about everyone who is ill, goes to a doctor and seeks medical treatment coupled with a priesthood blessing. If I were very ill, and my choice of treatment would be a body code practinioner or rapid eye movement therapy (both which are energy work) I would still ask for a blessing right before. Just like I would for any other type of treatment. People who treat energy work as a replacement of preisthood blessings, certainly don't understand it. That blows my mind. That would be like not wanting a priesthood blessing because I'm putting all my trust in my surgeon. I know many surgeons who offer priesthood blessings right before surgery. I'm not sure where all the fear comes from, but I do know people who are weary most likely have not prayed and fasted about it. I had weird feelings about it until I did so. I really believe it was the adversary putting thoughts into my head about how strange and bad might be because he knew how much it was going to bless my family. I have a very open mind and heart and feel the spirit so strong in my life. Satan cannot mimic the warm confirmations of the Holy Ghost from head to toe. I feel the spirit burn so strong in my life, especially when I am assisting in healing. Again all credit is given to the Savior HE does the healing. A doctor charges to see patients, but can still offer prayers or blessings along with his healing and I know many that do so. If his treatment heals the patient, he did not heal the patient it was the Lord. It is no different with energy healing, herbal healing, holistic healing etc.

These scriptures came to me when I was seeking to know for myself, Moroni Chapter 7 (especially verses 11-14) and Mark 9:38-40

I had an institute teacher several years ago who cautioned us to pray about our doctors especially OBs because he personally had witnessed many doctors who appeared decent and reputable but were very dark. Its the same for energy workers, there can be some bad apples in the bunch but that doesn't mean that all apple must be bad. There are also some bad apples who are members of the church but that doesn't make the gospel wrong and bad because of them. I never make a point to mock or discount anything unless I have truly prayed about it. The Lord has never let me down that way. He always answers and it always amazing!

  13. THANK YOU IRAQ! I've challenged many "snuffer-ites" on doctrinal issues only to have them slither back into the shadows.

This "energy healing" malarkey is a tool by the adversary. I don't need to know quantum physics here and now to have faith to heal or be healed by God. HE takes care of that part IF IT IS HIS WILL. I need only have faith in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ and pray that HIS WILL BE DONE under the authority of His Holy Priesthood.

The molecules in water will form the letters of the Hebrew Alefbet in certain experiments. The molecules do react to negative and positive words. Forming beautiful snowflake objects with the positive and disintegrated ones with negative. AGAIN, it comes down to the power of these letters that are spoken and used by God to create. His voice is vibrational/energy power. There's more to these letters than just grammar and they need to be reverenced and respected to the utmost.

Julie Rowe's endorsement of the EXPENSIVE Brad Nelson chiropractor who SELLS his ENERGY gift for BOO-KOO $$$ sessions leading you to believe you need more is a major RED FLAG for me. She says she was led to Brad for healing of her emotional issues and that he will use his gift in the Last Days. REALLY? The Lord calls you to testify at the peril of your life and has to REFER YOU to a chiropractor to help you cope?

Julie sounds so real until the energy healing thing comes up and then I get "that feeling" that something isn't right. It started out as an "honorable mention" in her book and now it's being promoted in the open. And ANOTHER book is coming out? She said she was only writing two and that was it. Not condemning, just stating the facts.

Eliza R. Snow was a prophetess/healer. She laid hands and prayed leaving it to God's power and will.

Brothers and sisters, follow God's prophet and test everything under the guidance of the Holy Ghost. He is Holy God too. He cannot lie. It is His calling to lead you aright.

Not one prophet as far as I know has taught "Energy Healing" and told us it's helpful to learn quantum physics.

We're NOT evolving into Energy Healers in the Last Days because there will be no hospitals. The PRIESTHOOD IS IN FULL FORCE AND WILL BE FOREVER!

Satan is so subtle in the use of pride and physics. The "Energy Healer" with their satanic given powers and the followers who seek them out in false faith leaving behind the true Priesthood.

This post is a real wake up call.

  14. Energy work too, is the will of the Lord. Its finding emotions rooted in your body and releasing them to the Savior. All it is is the light of Christ. His energy. People use energy work every day without realizing it. When you state affirmations, when you forgive, use the atonement, pray...it all uses energy and works through the light of Christ. I really believe most people just don't know what it is and think its some type of hoakey magic or something. If you already do not have the desire to learn about it, but assume it's wrong, then you never will get an answer and it's simply just not for you. The books mentioned above verify with military research and medical journal research how energy (AKA the light of Christ) changes DNA and vibration frequencies in the earth and in all matter. The mysteries of the Kingdom for sure. Awesome stuff! My energy worker friends are amazing men and women (RS presidents, bishops, stake presidents, bishops wives) who have all received approval from their leadership, nothing weird about them at all. In fact they are the most, soft spoken, humble, faithful, unconditional loving, beautiful people you'll ever meet. They do not charge fees for their gifts. Isn't it amazing how the Lord gives us all so many different spiritual gifts? I myself have been blessed being surrounded by so many gifted brothers and sisters devoted to the gospel and leaders of the church. I think sometimes the Lord wants us to ponder the whys and learn how it is he does what he does. After all, we are here to learn how to become like him someday. Energy work has only strengthened my testimony of the gospel and the priesthood. It's an additional witness to what I already know to be true. It has never gone against any doctrine or taken away the spirit. If anything the extreme opposite. It has opened up the mysteries of the Kingdom and they are beautiful! I believe it's a higher law/knowledge that many people are not ready for, just like polygamy, the law of consecration. Visions of Glory talks very much about these concepts during the part about the New Jerusalem and the millennium. There is so much we don't know and it will all be given to us on His timetable.

  15. Iraq sometimes I think we are blood brothers. Pretty much same experience as you. I bought DS 1st book read a little over half and tossed it - learned later why. Julie Rowe sounded fine but the energy healing was a red flag to me. I have been letting it play out to I listen but don't vest my energy into her words as I feel cautioned. One thing I have noticed is that she is putting more emphasis on the energy healing and doing more webinars or supporting them more so I think this is part of her fruits.

We really have to be careful in these the last days I would only think for us to be deceived as members of the church it would have to be small things that lead us astray or it would be just too easy.

I have a sister who is a DS disciple and now into Energy Healing BIG time.

IRAQ I know you use to visit LDSFF before it went down hill but many of us are over at http://ldsfriendsandfun.freeforums.org/index.php Feel free to join us.

  16. I agree with IRAQ. Energy healings are just not quite right. I believe many good and faithful people are using it.... but because it is not based within the priesthood, there are no spiritual safety guidelines to protects its users from evil spiritual influences... in fact full on satanic worshipers can use it to the same degree of effectiveness.... makes be really shy from it, and those that practice it. I do firmly believe that it's followers are being slowly and surely led astray.

I'm un-subscribing to Julie Rowe's email updates today. The words "Go ye not out to meet" them keeps ringing in my ears.

Need a "special" wrist band to get into Julie's class?

Everybody needs to go read the latest post on here about the Art of Deception. It couldn't be more timely.

I knew something just wasn't right about Julie slipping in Brad Nelson and the Energy Healing bit. Now, it's creating a following. Where are the General Authority key note speakers? Were any of them invited to speak and would they actually accept such an invitation? Think about that. You've got Julie, the visionary, Brad Nelson, the guru healer, and Kenneth Cope and David Osmond, singers/songwriters who stand to make a pretty penny with "don't forget to purchase my CD on your way out the door so you can keep the good vibes going!"

I don't care if I get hammered for this. The "We've tapped into God's power and authority to command the intelligences and can do it ourselves now without the Priesthood" will find themselves following Brigham Young's warning to cut the ties that bind them to the Prophet of God and sink straight to hell.

  18. The problem with J Rowe is her personality. Annoying as all get-out. But her message has been consistent, never stepping over the lines, and she's never pushed energy healing (or her message) as a money maker, which a fraud would do. Yes, she was a fool to couple energy healing with her message, but that's not to say she's wrong about it. I'm just not one to try it. It doesn't totally ruin her message, but it doesn't help.

  19. Amen to the last Anon. Anything involved with "Christ centered healing" should never involve goods, money, ect in trade or payment.

  20. My name is Donna, but I had to choose Anonymous to respond here.

I got on the Emotion Code wagon... paid the $600 +, did all the work to become certified, experienced "miracles" in the healing of others. I made Christ and prayer the focus of all the healing, and gave God credit for any good that came of it. I searched scriptures to try and "justify" my doing all this. But the more I did Emotion Code work, the less I turned to the scriptures. And eventually, the "answers" I was getting from muscle testing started to become more and more confusing and contradictory. Much prayer and fasting, repenting, and a deeper study of the scriptures brought the truth: Dr. Bradley is a false prophet. The "miracles" I witnessed were simply the result of the belief of the person I did the work for. I can be VERY convincing.

I now get emails quite often of people who are confused my the emotion code work they are doing, by people they "cured" who are no longer cured, of regression in health, etc. The want to know what they are doing wrong. Those who answer their questions give long-drawn out reasons and "to do's" and "not to do's". The truth is that it is FALSE.

These scriptures bring greater assurance to what The Spirit has already told me:

Doctrine and Covenants 3:3 "Remember, remember that it is not the work of God that is frustrated, but the work of men" (THE EMOTION CODE WORK GREW MORE AND MORE FRUSTRATING FOR ME)

Alma 1:20 "they did impart the word of God, one with another, without money and without price" (EMOTION CODE KNOWLEDGE COSTS ALOT)

Acts 3:6: "Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." (EMOTION CODE HEALERS CHARGE MONEY)

Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (EMOTION CODE WORK CAN MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL, LOVED, BUT INVOLVES MANY, MANY SESSIONS WHICH WILL RAVISH YOUR FUNDS, IT WILL ALSO RAVISH YOUR TIME THAT COULD BE SPENT IN THE SCRIPTURES AND WORDS OF THE PROPHETS DEVELOPING THE FAITH TO BE HEALED)

Mark 13:22 "For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect."

    NEED I SAY MORE?
