A UN TREE IN INDEPENDENCE, MO?

I personally think the U.N. is the UN-NJ.  The anti-thesis of all that is good and right about the principles that will come about under the UN.  Personally?  I would like to see a mushroom cloud rising over that part of NYC.  It is a blight on American soil.....

I just found an outline from a presentation I did three years ago. Enjoy! The end times in 6 phases:
Phase 1 – The gospel will be restored to the earth in preparation for the second coming of the Lord.

Phase 2 – The gospel will flood the earth. (With the advent of the internet, this is considered nearly done. We are in the "hastening".
Phase 3 – The cleansing of the wicked is needed to prepare the earth for the Savior’s return. Skousen pays particular attention to the cleansing that will take place in America, because this is where the New Jerusalem will be built. In other books, combined with Skousen’s remarks, President Taylor’s vision supports the theory that the scourge (cleansing) will take place in America. Skousen lists the four cities that will be affected first from Taylor’s vision; New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and Salt Lake City.
Skousen points out in that prophesy that the Lord will cleanse his own house first, thus Salt Lake City will be where the scourge starts. (D&C 112:24‐26).
President Taylor’s vision is among the most vivid as to the symptoms of the scourge and the devastating effects that causes mass carnage within 48 hours nationwide. The scourge begins with a mark on the top of the hand or cheek, causing the person to bleed from the ears, and then sudden death. He remarks that the deaths are so numerous that people have to evacuate the big cities because the smell starts to kill people and there is no one left to clean up the mess.
Skousen comments on this prophesy (D&C 112:24‐26) that the scourge will visit those who are apostates and backsliders among the members. He describes the blasphemer as someone who makes covenants
in the temple and then profanes them.
Phase 4 – The building of New Jerusalem.
In 1831, Joseph Smith prophesied the place in Jackson County, Missouri where the Savior will return shortly before the ushering in of the Millennium. This is where Adam and all the invited High Priests will
turn the keys of the priesthood back to the Savior and receive their assignments for the Millennium. It is called Adam‐omdi‐ahmon.
To Joseph’s surprise, he thought it would be approximately four acres for one temple, but his vision was for over 60 acres and for 24 buildings. He told the people to buy up all the land to the Missouri border.
He even received a vision with the plans and building materials. He dedicated the spot and buried stones where the temple portion was to be built. In two short years, the local citizens had driven the Mormons out of Missouri (extermination order) and the land was deeded back for $300. The local citizens were afraid that the Mormons were going to outnumber them and take over the political power. A few years later, the Reorganized LDS church would buy up the land knowing how valuable this prophecy was.
Today, the “temple lot” is owned by the RLDS (changed name to Community of Christ). They also have a rock church at the corner of the intersection next to the lot dedicated for a temple. They have a building
on the lot called a temple, but it is used as a civic center for the church. They have recovered the cornerstones placed by Joseph Smith and they are on display in a museum.
On the opposite corner is an LDS visitor center; and on the remaining corner is a U.N. Peace Plaza. The Peace Plaza is strange because the U.N. headquarters is located in New York City and this area is
basically uninhabited; however, the prophesy goes that people of all nations will come to this area to help with the building of New Jerusalem.
There is one more oddity about this intersection. The Six Nation Peace Tree Foundation has planted a peace tree there. The foundation says that in their oral histories from their ancestors (Native Americans), “buried their weapons of war” in favor of peace. Planting a tree is symbolic of this history.
Considering that in the Book of Mormon the phrase “buried their weapons of war” is mentioned, this would be an appropriate place to plant a tree.
This building of New Jerusalem is also the time when the Lost 10 tribes will miraculously “come from the north” to help build this New Jerusalem. The scripture also say this hemisphere will be sealed off because of the “roaring seas” to prevent anyone from reaching America.
During the time that New Jerusalem is being built, the world’s army is about to destroy Israel. This is the battle of Armageddon between Gog and Magog. The Savior intervenes, destroys the army (except for 1/6 who retreat) and then shows himself to the Jews. (D&C 45:51‐53)
The Jews will start to rebuild the temple in Old Jerusalem at this time as per another prophesy. The Jews are training young men today in the traditions of old to perform priesthood duties, and the architectural plans have already been drawn up. The temple will be built on the ground where the Dome of the Rock is today. That location is currently shared with the Arabs for Muslim worship, but the Jews are confident that God will bring about the change of ownership when the time will come.
Stage 5 – One last call to the world (mostly to church members) to come to New Jerusalem. There will be 144,000 missionaries sent out to make this final call in preparation for the second coming.
The only peace left on the earth will be at New Jerusalem. Those who reject their message will be sealed up to destruction at the time of Christ’s Second Coming.
Stage 6 – The Morning of the 1st Resurrection.
The righteous will be lifted up and changed with a “twinkle of the eye” or “quickened”. The wicked shall burn as stubble. The graves of the righteous will also be opened and the graves of the wicked will wait until after the millennium to be resurrected.
There will be gigantic changes on the surface of the earth. The continents and islands will become one land, the mountains will be lowered and the seas will be forced back to the poles and the earth will be restored to its paradisiacal glory. The Lord says all of this must occur before the ushering of the Millennium.
