A NEW BOOK - CHANGE IS COMING BY HECTOR SOSA

The new Book "Change Is Coming" by ..Hector Sosa Jr. was born in Puerto Rico. He began having visions of future events as a young boy, a gift he inherited from his mother. At age 13 he and his family joined the LDS Church, and the visions he had been receiving began to make sense as he learned more about the prophecies and doctrines taught by church leaders. Among the events he has foreseen are:
Earthquakes in Utah
A national financial collapse
Plagues and sicknesses
Concentration camps on U.S. soil
An invasion from foreign troops
The Saints prevail against the enemy
Hector’s visions are specifically meant to serve as warnings to his own family, but he hopes that by sharing what he has seen, it will help others prepare for the challenging times that will soon come upon the world.

I know Hector Sosa speaks the truth in what he shares in this book. The experiences he talks about and the details he gives pertaining to the things he has been shown are very similar, and in many cases identical, to what I have also been shown.
This book is another wake-up call. It is an additional opportunity the Lord is giving us to prepare for the days ahead. We need not fear if we will put our faith and trust in our Father in Heaven and in His plan for us.

  1. I feel to say that if we haven't already, we need to switch gears in preparedness and in getting our uninformed friends and loved ones around us, informed. If you have put off telling someone now's the time to tell them to stop, look around and ask them, what happened in Germany right before Hitler murdered millions of Jews?

They all thought it was fine.

    1. Please let us know how that goes for ya. Been there, done that. I'm labeled a Last Days off the deep end religious doom and gloom conspiracy theory nut job. A candidate for therapy. The black cloud no one wants to be around because I can see clearly prophecy unfolding to the point that worldly distractions have lost all appeal. Eating, sleeping, working are a burden because all I wish to do is proclaim the gospel, pray/praise/sing/study scriptures in Hebrew, all the day long. The mysteries in Biblical Hebrew are so deep and wide to setting the soul on fire. Family and friends aren't in the dark my friend. They see and hear just like you do except they SPIRITUALLY ARE ASLEEP BY CHOICE. You are the dreaded alarm clock who needs to be turned off.

I am repelled by uncleanness. I am repelled by Hollywood, Big Box Church preacher/wolves, Yahoo story headlines that promote homos, reality t.v., celebrity and sports star worship, smartphone addiction, idol worship, and anything that exalts itself against the High and Holy Almighty God.

You'll give your suggestion a try and you'll find yourself in a lonely place with few friends/family and God to talk to. You will become a gold level member of the Peculiar Club. I wish you well and admire your efforts.

I'm not saying, "Don't even try". I'm making a prediction for your righteous desires. Shalom Alecheim as only Yeshua HaMeshiach can provide to you and all reading this. Especially IRAQ. I think his head hurts the most due to his chosen profession.

    2. Your reply/message is not the one of "hope" our Savior wishes us to have. You sound like a very bitter person, and that is why people don't listen to you. Preparedness' is spelled out in the scriptures, from the General Authorities and past leaders. Those that have the ears to hear will heed. We can be a "positive example" by our attitude and good will extended to others. You appear to not have been blessed with these attributes - however, it never is too late to acquire them. We are told by the Lord to not live in fear - obedience is learned by degrees. You are making a "mass judgment" not allowing for others to change. I wish you the best in whatever it is you are searching for..

    3. "you'll find yourself in a lonely place" - Was this why John the Baptist lived in the wilderness eating locusts and wild honey?

  2. Iraq, I thought I would share this little known story about Joseph Smith the Prophet. It was shared by my old Seminary teacher, Glen Rawson, who can be heard on the Sounds of Sunday. It think the story exemplifies the type of faith that will be required of each of us, as we move into a "brave new world". Here it is:

Charles Stoddard and the Prophet Joseph Smith
Charles Stoddard was only a lad of 14, living in Nauvoo, when he was asked by the Prophet Joseph Smith to serve as a houseboy for William Law, an avowed enemy of the Prophet, and to inform him of any of Law’s devious plans. Charles’s mother Sarah recorded the following in her journal dated, April 1844--just two months before the martyrdom of the Prophet.
“Charles had another faith promoting experience. Early this morning, even while the darkness still hemmed out the light of day, Mr. Law, after he had been drinking and planning with his associates through the night, got Charles out of bed to clean and oil his gun for he said he was going to shoot the Prophet, only William Law called him "old Joe Smith." Poor Charles was frightened beyond description but Mr. Law stood over him and prodded him with his foot when Charles hesitated through fright and anxiety. Finally when Mr. Law was satisfied with the way the gun was working, he put one bullet in. He boasted that he could kill the prophet with one shot and sent Charles to bring the prophet.
He ran as fast as he could and delivered the message but begged the prophet not to go to Mr. Law's as Mr. Law was drunk and Charles was afraid he would carry through on his threat to shoot the prophet in cold blood. In spite of Charles' protestations the Prophet rose from bed and dressed.
It was breaking dawn by this time. As they walked the few blocks from the Mansion House to the Law residence the Prophet reassured Charles that no harm would come to him that day. Charles was frightened and he said it kept racing through his mind "I am the one that cleaned the gun that is going to be used to kill the Prophet" until he was sick with fear. The Prophet, in a final attempt to calm my dear son, uttered the fateful words, "Mr. Law may someday kill me, Charles, but it won't be today.'
As they approached their destination Mr. Law came staggering out of the house, and his only greeting was angry boasts of what he intended to do. The Prophet said kindly and unafraid, "You sent for me, Mr. Law?" to which Mr. Law replied with oaths that he had and that he was now going to do Nauvoo, Illinois, and indeed the whole world a great favor by disposing of the Prophet with one shot.
Calmly the prophet unbuttoned his shirt and bared his chest, then said, "I'm ready now, Mr. Law." Charles said at this point he nearly fainted. Fear strangled him until he was speechless and paralyzed, unable to move a muscle.
Mr. Law paced a few steps, turned, aimed, and pressed the trigger. There was complete silence, then the air rang with profanity and Mr. Law turned on Charles, accusing him of fixing the gun so it would not go off and threatening to kill even Charles, my innocent, frightened, but faithful son. The Prophet, to divert Mr. Law's blame of Charles suggested that a can be placed on the fence post for Mr. Law to take a practice shot. Relieved, Charles ran for a can and laid it on its side on the post. Mr. Law paced back, took aim and fired. His 'one shot' streaked through the exact center of the bottom of that can. Mr. Law is well-known for his marksmanship even when drunk. Even Mr. Law was quiet as if stunned.
The Prophet buttoned up his shirt, gave Charles a meaningful look, and then said, "If you are finished with me now, Mr. Law, I have other things needing to be done. Good morning."

    1. This is excellent. Thanks for posting this. Her entire journal can be found at http://www.boap.org/LDS/Early-Saints/SStoddard.html. The last entry was written by her daughter in 1847. My favorite part was where her daughter remembered her mother saying the following about those turbulent times:

"the one time of complete peace and the upsurging of faith and hope was when the prophet's mantle fell over Brigham Young and it appeared to the thousands assembled that Joseph the prophet stood once more before them."

I find that interesting because I've heard that most historians, including Richard Bushman, ignore this event because nobody spoke of it for MANY years after it occurred, leading historians (a.k.a. the learned who think they are wise) to believe it was just made up. However, 1847 is NOT MANY years after the event and here we have an example of someone talking about it and being strengthened by it through very difficult times.

  3. No, I am not a very bitter person. I'm a very loving and compassionate person actually who does try to reach out and warn others with current events, prophecy past and present. I'm also VERY realistic. Like Nephi whose pillow was watered by his tears at night because of Laman and Lemuel. Remember them? Sweet boys.

There's a reason Alma was so downtrodden when he was expelled from Ammonihah by the ungodly there. At least he gets it about what happens when one preaches to the ungodly as well as to the accepting. Sounds like you don't. The wicked taketh the truth to be HARD and act like swine and dogs.

The ones who don't listen are the ones who prefer to keep living in sin because it's more fun in Babylon for them. It's true the closer one draws to the Lord, the more they become separated from and peculiar to those who prefer to stay in spiritual Babylon. It is lonely and it is harsh. At some point, you feel so beaten up, it's hard to keep talking. Enoch and his people are so pure and perfect they with the dirt they lived on were taken away from among the ungodly.

Stop long enough from your ivory tower observations to read up on motes and beams.

In answer to the "Lonely Place" commenter.

John the Baptist lived in the wilderness eating locusts and wild honey because he was the only true High Priest at the time through the line of his father with the authority to baptize Jesus. Thus, the only true High Priest to accept the Lamb offering, thus saying, "Behold the Lamb of God." just as when the lambs are brought for sacrifice to the High Priest in the temple. He died shortly, thereafter, leaving Jesus full authority to become THE High Priest of the temple which was now His body. "Destroy this temple in three days..."

And YES, he probably was LONELY which circles back around to living around and preaching to the ungodly.

So commenter #1, why don't you tell John the Baptist he is very bitter and that's why probably no one listened to him either. NUF SAID.

    Sorry IRAQ...

  4. I thought I would chime in. I just finished reading Hector Sosa's book A Change is Coming. It is a very short book. Less than 90 pages, large font, small pages and about 10 of those pages are full of pictures. You could probably read the entire book in under 2 hours. Now I will tell you, this is an EXTREMELY beneficial way to spend 2 hours. He doesn't give any long stories, just a bunch of small dreams. But he gives specifics about many places around Springville, UT, Manti-Fairview, UT and a bunch of Arizona. He also believes like Joseph Smith Sai, d that things in the US will start to spiral out of control beginning in Chicago. He gave me clarity on certain things that others (Spencer, Rowe, Menet, etc) left unsaid. Probably because different things pertain to each person's future. I liked how he called out that the Heber Valley camp (where his stake from Springville gathers) will become a place of refuge. I would highly recommend anyone in the southern Utah Valley area, Manti-Fairview area, and Arizona read this. I will warn you, it is short and will leave you wishing he had gone into more depth on just about every topic but it gives you a good general idea of things. And some of the specifics he says are startling. Anyway, it's definitely a good read and I believe he really saw these things.

  5. I also read Bro. Sosa's book "A Change is Coming" and "Anonymous 9:12 AM" hit it right on the head. The only thing I would add is something that really bothers me personally. Hector mentions that when the stock market crashes, it will crash each time they try to re-open it until they just give up and close it indefinitely - I understood this to mean that you won't be able to get any of your money out of it. We REALLY seriously need him to clarify this piece if at all possible. Most of all of our life's savings is in there, and we need to form an exit strategy.

  6. exit the stockmarket now... buy supplies

  7. Agree with exiting the market including 401k. Very soon... Pay off the debt that you can and buy goods and food to sustain your family. Get materialism out of our lives or we will mourn for what we should have done but didn't and our families will pay the price. Be grateful for those blessed with visions and follow the counsel to prepare...now!

  8. I read Hector's book last night...then went on with my regularly scheduled life, seeing things with new perspective. Although I can't, with certain accuracy, make meaning out of other people's dreams, especially those intended for them and their families personally, I can heed warning feelings and promptings from the Spirit.

    For me, the message was:
    - do what you can now to have clothing, food, and emergency supplies in place
    - be spiritually alert and faithful
    - keep your focus on the prophet(s) and on the counsel/instructions given through them to our local leaders
I'm glad a friend recommended the book. I'm not in a position to do a lot materially, but I can pray for wisdom to move forward doing what I can.

Thank you all for your comments above. Thank you, Brother Wood, for hosting this forum.

  9. These experiences mainly serve to sell books. If people haven't gathered supplies by now, after 80 years of being counseled to do so, then it doesn't say much about their faith. Do we need an NDE or dream to motivate us to be obedient? If so we deserve to receive divine chastisement.
