Cargismandua could not have been the wife of Jesus Christ unless one accepts the rest of the whacky account: that Jesus did not resurrect nor ascended to heaven, but escapednalive and lived until the age of 63 in Britannia, where he was stoned to death for stealing the Torah from the temple of Jerusalem.
Besides, Cartusmandua was already married. the queen of the Brigantes had a consort who was neither charismatic nor really loving. And that actually tried to take the kingdom from her.
Folk lore, devil authorship or pure lunacy by a new ager, you choose. I believe, as you, in the resurrected Christ, married, yes, in Israel. Not in Britain.
Interesting counter point. Both are good thought provokers. I do have no reservation about the Christ visiting Britannia as one of the Isles of the Sea. Especially if one accepts that Joseph of Aramethia (of the Garden Tomb incident) was the Uncle of Jesus and also a wealthy merchant with ties to Wales and England.
http://www.dialogus2.org/enJESU/yourcelticlineage.html Disagreement with Bushby, but then the guy who disagrees also has some crazy theories. Thus the need for the Book of Mormon...a second witness.
Unlikely,

ReplyDeletethe dynasty of the holy grail by Vern Swanson is a very thought provoking book touching on the matter.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Dyansty of the Holy Grail: Mormonism's Sacred Bloodline - I highly recommend it...but make sure to find the revised/updated edition.
