According to what I understand, the Muslims are awaiting their "savior" - a form of a false Messiah who is supposed to reunite the Muslims and try and do a "blocking move" for the real deal who is going to show up in Israel shortly.
His MO is very similar to Putin and bummer. Pretty much a full-on benevolent dictator.
This guy may fill the deal, very quickly. He may work in concert with Russia; and Turkey is now more closely allying themselves with Russia, seeing how things are shaping up...... People are choosing sides, and the USA is losing many former allies.

I don't believe it just yet though this guy (ERDOGAN) is fulfilling prophecy in an important way in that Turkey is now going to be allied to Russia AND Iran. Russia and Turkey were bitter enemies in the Crimean war as both countries fought over for the control of...Ukraine.

The dude has literally kicked out the American ambassador from his palace and told him to go pound sand when said ambassador criticized him for accepting an invitation to go to Moscow next month for the V-E celebrations (they call it the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War).
This guy isn't some backwater politician. He is the Head of State of Cheska Republika (Czech Republic).

As for your Mahdi, Erdogan might be a player though I doubt it. It was he that allowed the LDS missionaries to enter into his country in the first place. Look out for somebody out of Iran, Afghanistan, or one of the other Stans as this is the area where the Mahdi ought to appear from if the Hadith and Qu'ran are to be trusted (KHORASAN).
I feel like all I do anymore is imitate Robin from the old Batman show in the 60's. "Holy #$@$ Batman!". This is big and yeah, I can see why you're so worked up. You're not alone. This is the real deal it seems. Well, now the army of 200 million doesn't seem so outlandish does it? God help us!
