JUSTIFIABLE WAR, PER THE BOOK OF MORMON

From my buddy, John U. on FB:

(Lastly, Captain Moroni raised the 'title of liberty' (Alma 46 & 51) TWICE...

Once against a foreign power – who the Nephites were separated from at the beginning of their nation. [Which, relative to our time, was the American Revolutionary War]

And once, again, in defiance of the tyranny of the 'king-men' (Alma 51:22). Or the enemies within his own lands. [Which is representative of the army of the Priesthood defeating the 'secret combination' – in numerous scriptures and latter-day prophecies])

Pointing out that there were a few times when war was justified per Book of Mormon rules.  If you would like to live by the sword (as the US is today), you simply will die by it.  You make the choice.  It is almost too late to separate yourselves from it before the young men and fathers are pulled into horrific wars, the likes of which we have never seen.  When the US is knocked down, Russia, China and others will grind us into powder never to rise again (picture what the Romans did to the Jews within one generation after they rejected Christ).

The message is clear.  The type and shadow are cast.
