Thankfully, or perhaps not, the video game cyber cartoon warriors can't smell burnt flesh or the stench of ruptured bowels and excrement rotting in the sun with a cloud of flies and maggots at every orifice. These kids are being desensitized and blinded to the horror that is war. They learn to enjoy slaughter but feel no pain.
ReplyDeleteThe Chechen's, Afghans, and other assorted actors are not desensitized, they are hardened. Plus they feel a religious compulsion to do what they do. Even if they are just pawns in the hands of the Gads, they are extremely dangerous and will have to be dealt with.
It will be nice when the savior comes and the truly evil leaders and Machiavellian sociopaths who believe the drivel in Plato's Republic are vaporized and their matter recycled as cosmic dust. In the mean time we must be strong. We must be loyal to Christ and the Prophets and, even in a conflict situation, not let our hearts be hardened. We must be motivated by love of family and liberty and not hate. It's a delicate balance but can be achieved.
