Every corner will have a camera, a database and the Bloombergs of the world will tell you that must eat your fruit or veggies before you can buy that candy bar. Of course, these things will be streaming data to the central database of big bro. so you will be tracked and surveilled by the biggest police state the world has ever known. And the people, pacified by lithium, reality tv and fluoride in every cup of water they drink.
When is the insanity going to stop? When will people rise up against their masters and marshal themselves for war against the machine that has enslaved them?

Can you tell that I am a little irritated today?
Speaking of living in a world overseen by THE ONE CORRPUTED EYE of the secret-combo set, have you read the book The Giver by Lois Lowry or seen the recent film adaptation that she oversaw? It is my feeling that this book was inspired to retell, again, the story of the issues of the War in Heaven and why that war still rages here. My only concern is that there will be an evil remake of this story once she has passed away.
