Much greater sorrow will yet come for us to pass thru in the coming years. Right now, I am down in San Diego (ground zero in a Russian nuclear attack) and think of all of the difficulty that many will pass thru when that event occurs. It will be a sad time:

Clearly? How is this clearly? Where does it say that the Lord given this work to Man? Joesph Smith wanted us ALL to connect with the Lord and received His word for us individually. It will be sad when the judgements are upon us and the leaders of this church have not gathered "well-before the frightening events" occur. We will only hear "All is well in Zion, Zion prospereth" - 2 Nephi 28:21.

It is my personal responsibility to “be prepared” and to know and understand the signs of the times. However, it is the responsibility of the LEADERS of the Lords church to gather the saints because they hold the KEYS OF THE GATHERING OF ISREAL.
DeleteIf you listen to General Conf. you would know that not one talk states all is well in Zion. IMO one of the problems the brethren have is if they say too much they offend some and if they say too little they offend others.
Your "light description of the leaders of the Church" is disturbing. Whatever is necessary is in the works and just because the Leadership hasn't informed you - doesn't mean it is not happening. You, my friend are bordering on apostasy. You might want to be the one to consider repenting.
DeleteHe/She is not bordering on apostasy, they are there. They deny the keys of authority held by the prophets and apostles(Keys of the gathering of Israel). I also have not heard the "all is well in Zion" stuff from the General Authorities like this person claims. You are on the wrong side of the aisle. The time of repentance is clearly at hand.

ReplyDeleteA thorough reading of Isaiah & other scriptures to support that book, proclaim our religious and political leaders of today are like "Dumb Watch Dogs that don't bark". Every man is out for his "Own Quarter". Silent watch dogs that don't bark are good for nothing but allowing the guarded occupants to become exposed to dangers that will consume them in the Lord's Day of Judgment.

D&C112. Does this mean every other religion but our own, or does it mean more SPECIFICALLY Our Own ?
"The Lord CLOSES the eyes of the prophets and seers" who NO LONGER receive revelation or visions from God and are left to their own devices of men. Hence the D&C comes to an abrupt END.
What modern day prophet predicted 911 or any other major event of the 20 & 21st century, other than Joseph Smith ?
Wake Up sleepy heads....Blind obedience to men and reliance on the "Arm of Flesh" is something the Lord WARNS us of. Especially in the face of an overwhelming mountain of evidence which supports Isaiah's claim that leaders and members alike have GONE ASTRAY & have become as Babylon & Pharasees of Old.

Does this sound a bit like MEN standing between US & GOD and relieving us of OUR responsibility to commune with God and receive a testimony of Our OWN, in liue of ONLY accepting the overbearing testimonies & demands of MEN ?.....Of "FLESH" ?
Beware to whom we place our BLIND & HUMANLY BIAS TRUST in....Christ is the ONLY one who stands between Us and Our Father in Heaven. At least for those who actually COMMUNE with God.
