WHY HAVE LEADERS FALLEN SILENT?

A question from Mark G. from Poland:
I am sure that you get a lot of messages, but I just wont to tell you, Thank you for keeping me inform on So many things happening. I am Polish and I am sorry for my grammar, but I just love the information you place on your blog. Why do you think the leaders of our church are a little silent on what is happening? I mean they say small things during the GC, but usually not much of things to come. I feel like they use to say a lot more, but for the last 20 years not much. Why?

Mark - your english is great.  I have had the same question for some time and then have had it answered by many others as I have asked them.

It is this:  the people simply are not listening.  Most do not heed the call - so we are no longer asked.  Those who have the Holy Spirit as their guide will be guided personally to do what is needed in their individual circumstances.  In the US, we are going to be knocked out by the Russians/Chinese after a major national disaster.  In Poland, the Russians will come thru, but it will not be so much a brutal thing as it was with the Germans.  This will happen later this year.

Things are about to change drastically here shortly.

I will say that all the Brethren are "dug in" and prepared for what is coming here shortly.  They are ready.  The membership, generally speaking, is not.

  1. IRAQ,

If we are to take the George Albert Smith's prophecy (two accounts, one by David Horne, another by a relative of Pres. Smith), then the next president would be elected, but never inaugurated. Now, that brings the attack on the United States to the window betwwen Nov 2016 and Jan 2017, unless:

    1) The 22nd amendment of the US Constitution is repealed and Obama runs a third time and (surprise, surprise!, the dead and the absent will vote!) wins the election, deferring the attack to 2020, 2024, etc.;
    2) Pres in office Obama delays the inauguration of the pres. elected in 2016 by imposing the state of emergency.

Pres. Smith also says that the attack on US will take place at an holiday. I consider Christmas the best bet: the orthodox russians celebrate it in January, not in December, so they are at full strengh; and the US forces will be quite depleted then, with all the holiday travelling. The New Year holiday also the disadvantage that half of the russians are drunk by then, and so odds are that the missiles aimed to the United States at that particular day would end up in Canada or Brazil.

The russian invasion in Europe will be probably sooner than the end of 2016. I think it is probable that such invasion will be set earlier that year. Remember, american nuclear missiles have not yet been pulled out from Europe, one of the George Albert Smith's pre-stages of the invasion.

    1. From the manner that Julie Rowe responded to Mill Crenshaw's question regarding the 2016 elections, my window is similar to yours: "When you are invited to gather..." She stated that she will be coming from Kansas; however, my understanding is that she currently lives in Arizona. That to me indicates that she and her family will be visiting her husband's family in Kansas immediately before the gathering. Her children are in school, so my guess is that they will be there on Christmas break. I assume she takes a southern route to gather their belongings and provisions and then heads up to the camp. Then, a few weeks later... "Whamo!" Unless of course they are visiting on Summer vacation, then the whole scenario moves up a few months. It's all speculation on my part, but in my opinion, the leaves on the fig tree are beginning to sprout: (e.g. "Hastening of the Work", wars brewing, plagues such as ebola at our doorstep, unprecedented corruption and open lying in the U.S. government without accountability - truly the princes of Zoan are fools). But, in the end, who cares about timing? If you are prepared, ye shall not fear.

    2. People will be avoiding Denver, even Colorado. The place of gathering in Colorado will be Colorado Springs, not Denver. Denver will either be nuked (there are insights of such) or in complete disarray.

About Julie Rowe, I just hope what I think about her is wrong.

About Ebola, this will not be it. The worldwide plague will start in the «Lord's own House», as stated in D&C, and only at the end of the first 3/12 years countdown, as indicated in Revelation.

  2. "The Brethren" are not silent. There is much written within the GC talks that pertain to our current situation. We sometimes forget the Church of Jesus Christ is "world wide" and our prophet is the prophet over all the earth. He nor those serving under his keys of authority as prophet, seer and revelator - DO NOT put at risk - people living in countries that would suffer from their outspoken counsel. One word from their lips - and every member is out purchasing/storing or buying whatever they were to mention. This happened with something as small as Pres. Hinckley's two Christmas Devotionals using Charles Dicken's book on "Our Lord". The publishers were astounded at the sales and had several extra printings - why, because our Prophet has used that.

I would be careful telling Poland or anyone else the exact outcome or timing of events. That is not yours to do - you do not have the authority to relay happenings to the Church members. We all need to use our prayers, faith and scriptures to bolster us during these terrible times - which will only continue. I find answers and descriptions for everything happening within the scriptures, prophets and apostles writings.

  3. I think those who have ears to hear are hearing the warning that has been given.

It seems that when enough time is had temporal preparedness is preached with spiritual preparedness as we saw years ago with the church. When you are on the footstep of destruction often the things that are taught are faith, hope, charity and repentance coming unto Christ. This is the message we are getting. It very important to be prepared temporally but always more important to be prepared spiritually.

  4. The part I struggle with is that before destruction came to the great civilization’s in the past they were warned by a prophet (Lehi, Nephi, Samuel) of the impending destruction if they didn't change. We don’t have a Samuel standing on the wall telling us what is going to happen. Or do we?

    1. I think we need to consider the following:

      1. We live in a different age where immense amounts of information are at our fingertips. We are much more aware of worldwide events than any other time on earth.

      2. Thanks to the internet we have free and almost immediate access to the teachings of many of our modern prophets and apostles. Anyone interested in learning what words of warning they have spoken for our day has access to it. I’ve found many pertinent quotes of warning from modern prophets that are 100% applicable to our current situation.

      3. The Book of Mormon. Let’s not forget that the Book of Mormon itself was written specifically for us… today. Ezra Taft Benson said in 1987:

“I have been deeply impressed with the beauty and power of this scriptural account in 3 Nephi, and with its great value for our time and our generation. The record of the Nephite history just prior to the Savior’s visit reveals many parallels to our own day as we anticipate the Savior’s second coming.”

      4. One of the most comparable destructive events in the scriptures is that of Noah’s day. According to Julie Rowe, Noah was initially warned 120 years before the flood actually happened. During those 120 years he preached repentance, and he built the ark. If we were to take that example and apply it to our day, and look back on the words of the prophet from the last 120 years, it would include the words of almost all of our modern prophets.

      5. I’ve seen many comments on this blog that go along these lines “If something this terrible were about to happen we’d be hearing about it in General Conference”. I personally don’t think thats the case. A verse I came across today in the Book of Mormon really struck me. Its found in 3rd Nephi 5:20:

“…I have reason to bless my God and my Savior Jesus Christ, that he brought our fathers out of the land of Jerusalem, (and no one knew it save it were himself and those whom he brought out of that land).

Mormon makes it really clear here that there was no announcement to the general public telling the people to leave Jerusalem. He says the only ones who knew they were leaving were the Prophet himself, and the ones that followed him. That also leads me to believe in the possibility of a meeting similar to what Julie Rowe describes where at some point members are invited to go to a special meeting, which includes the invitation of the Prophet to pack up and leave. This callout is only given to those faithful members who were willing to attend a meeting outside of the regular 3 hour block, and then only those who actually follow the prophets council and leave will find out where everyone is headed.

      6. Be tuned into the spirit. I think there is probably not much more important that we can do in this life than to truly learn to be in tune with the promptings of the spirit. If we are, we have no need to fear. Even if there isn’t a callout from the church to leave to places of refuge, we each have the ability to receive personal revelation for ourselves and our family. Let’s not mock or scold those who have felt the need to move their families to new locations. Surely the Lord will need faithful Saints in many different areas when these events happen, and I greatly respect these people’s willingness to follow such promptings. That does not mean we should all do the exact same thing necessarily, but it does mean we should be asking in prayer what we should do, and where the Lord would have us be.

Preach My Gospel has been in place for about 10 years now. It was a radical change to be expected to teach by the spirit, rather than following a memorized script. I feel we must learn to live by the spirit and not wait to be commanded in all things.

26 “For behold, it is not meet that I should command in all things; for he that is compelled in all things, the same is a slothful and not a wise servant; wherefore he receiveth no reward.”
27 “Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;”

  5. Hi Todd! We do! Everyday people are coming forward with personal revelations and visions. This is to prepare the hearts and minds of the people to be ready when the Prophet eventually gives the call out. Don't worry, we are in Gods hands and they are good.

  6. It seems in order for the scripture that talks about the Lord coming "in an hour ye think not" and also "as a thief in the night" our leaders are not going to tell us when this will happen because of scripture prophecy about it coming in an hour we think not.

    1. Kind of like the 10 virgins - just be prepared or you're going to be left out of the party!!!

    2. Anonymous,

Actuall, if one thinks it through, one gets to know the hour has the events unfold. Imagine yourself in Jerusalem, sorrounded by Gog's troopers. Suddenly, they breach in and kill the two witnesses. That means you are three days away from the fourth aprearance of the Saviour, the one in glory that smittens Gog and his horde.

Armageddon happens and Israel is invaded. Three and a half years till the second coming.

Let us imagine that a seven year peace treaty between Israel and their historical enemies is reached at a certain date, brokered by a leader that restores the economical ability of the world for a certain time. What does it tell you? Yup, seven years to the Second Coming.

Let us imagine that Obama is leaving office and another president is about to be inaugurated. That the dollar is worthless and that Chicago is rioting for days. What does that tell us? The United States will be closing for renovation, pending new management.

As the signs become apparent, the five wise virgins will be able to discern with increasing accuracy the day and the hour.
