INABILITY TO FLEE DUE TO ACHING JOINTS?

This is going into the region of pandemic down where it is warmer.  Soon, it most likely will not be able to be contained without draconian measures.  Once this begins to become general, I hit the trail for higher ground.  Still waiting for news of a civil disturbance in the Chicago area.

I have to chuckle at a troll on a comment of a previous post.  No, I do not get into this stuff any more than Lehi or some other former gloomer did.  My job simply is to point out where the ship is taking on water and when she needs to be abandoned due to imminent capsize.  I find no joy in pointing out badness.  It is quite depressing, actually.  Where I do get my joy, is having one person wake up from their deep slumber and begin to become aware of their awful situation:

24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up.

 25 For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people, for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies; even that same liar who beguiled our first parents, yea, even that same liar who hath caused man to commit murder from the beginning; who hath hardened the hearts of men that they have murdered the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out from the beginning.

 26 Wherefore, I, Moroni, am commanded to write these things that evil may be done away, and that the time may come that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men, but that they may be persuaded to do good continually, that they may come unto the fountain of all righteousness and be saved.

 Indeed, the Prophets and watchmen on the tower have gone silent for the last several decades.  The people are not listening.  The condemnation of the Book of Mormon has not been lifted from the people (unless I happened to have missed the announcement), so we are still floundering.  There have been many who have tried.  Many who are deluded who think they are awake - but are wandering about in a dream within a dream.  That, to be sure, is the worst delusion.  It is that class of people who will be told to depart - those that professed, but never knew Him.

Verse 26 sums it all up - that combination must be done away so that Millennial Peace can burst forth on the surface of a sin-drenched world.  That thought is where I find my joy and reason for living.  It comes quite soon.  The rapidity of it will take the breath away of all who are able to witness it in the flesh.
