He is VERY well researched out - but I look at the preponderance of the other data flooding in and say to that guy (who is likely a paid schill from the government - yes the Church is heavily infiltrated just as every other religious organization in the world is): there were deniers in Jerusalem up until the blood was flowing in the streets. You can focus so heavily, straining at the gnat (of something that appears to be in discord with some supposed authoritative dictation of how things will be) - and still fully swallow the camel.
I just dealt with a guy today that is doing just that. So focused on all the flaws of women he knows and others who would seek to befriend him, that he has few genuine friends and no prospects for marriage after 30 years. When you are turning blue and choking to death on camel carcass, you have to ask yourself, "Did I miss something somewhere?". I know I have had to do it many a time in my own life...... Thankfully, it is an iterative process and, while it is yet day, there is repentance and an encompassing change of heart that can still take place.

ReplyDeleteThese blood moons look eerily parallel to the blood moons that saw David's rise to power and Solomon's commencing of his temple.
ReplyDeleteIsrael anciently went through that transition from establishment of nation-state, to conquest of Jerusalem (7 years into David's reign) to commencement of the building of the Temple, to the Lord appearing in glory inside of the temple.
That for me is TOO hard to ignore. Something big is going to happen after the last tetrad, my guess is that the Jews will rebuild the Jerusalem temple.

I have been interested in eclipses for quite a while. To me, “THE FOUR BLOOD MOONS!!!!” seems to have just been an extremely successful media hype. I tend to agree more with the Meridian Magazine.
ReplyDeleteReferencing “The Under-Standing of Eclipses” by Guy Ottewell, it states “Four or more eclipses happen every year, but they vary widely”. The variation is some combination of solar/lunar eclipses from partial to total. I find that the NASA eclipse page is a good resource http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse.html.
To me, “THE FOUR BLOOD MOONS!!!!” would have more significance if the eclipses were central to a significant geographic location such as Jerusalem. It seems the Lord would have a significant sign that the observer would see.

In these “FOUR BLOOD MOONS!!!!” and solar eclipse, the significant geographic locations are the Pacific (4) and the Western Atlantic (1) oceans.
I would like to propose an alternate significant SOLAR eclipse. On 21 August 2017, there is going to be a total solar eclipse that passes over the United States from Oregon to South Carolina. There are two significant places where the total eclipse passes over, Adam-ondi-Ahman and the New Jerusalem! Adam-ondi-Ahman seems a more logical place for me since Joel 2:31 states, “The sun shall be turned into darkness”. (As a coincidence? President Monson will turn 90 on 21 August, 2017!)

I would like to propose another significant LUNAR eclipse where the moon is most likely to be the deepest red to be a BLOOD MOON! On 27 July 2018, there is a total lunar eclipse where the center of the moon passes essentially directly underneath the center of the earth’s shadow. The central location for the eclipse is 54.6°E as compared to 35°E to the Old Jerusalem. The Old Jerusalem is close to Megiddo where the great battle “Armageddon” is to take place. Armageddon and the other great calamities, war, destruction, etc., will create more dust in the air to make the moon much darker. The Old Jerusalem seems to be a more logical place for Joel 2:31 states, “…and the moon into blood”.
