This is not just re-allocating. This is calling home from the Crimea.
I hope this is not the beginning of a trend. Once they are called home, and it accelerates, this will be what is considered the fulfilling of the times of the Gentiles. Not a good sign:

For Venezuela, the Church has had little or no US missionary presence since 2005. The missionaries are all from Venezuela or from countries sympathetic to Venezuela (like Ecuador, Bolivia, and Argentina, for political reasons.
ReplyDeleteAs for Ukraine, this development doesn't really surprise me, though I will give a comparison...
Right before World War II The missionaries were pulled out of Germany and surrounding countries.
Last year when the two Koreas were hurling threats of war against each other the Church did nothing, in fact adding another mission in Seoul.
This is bad news for Ukraine in general and Europe in specific. Armstrong had predicted this would happen (war in Ukraine) before the Olympics. He is now predicting war between Russia and the West after September of this year...based on everything that bummer is doing to inflame Putin.
You don't trap a bear in a corner, and Obama trapped Putin. Putin is now forced to act because if he doesn't, the ultranationalists will take his place, and then we will REALLY see the fecal matter hit the oscillating blade.
