Folks, I am watching events unfold in awe. I have been locked in bitter theological battle with many a Baptist. I consider most to have good intentions - to sway their "wayward" brethren away from the dangerous path they are on, much like Saul of OT fame did......
Here is a jaw-dropping article. First, the Mormons and the Catholics locked arms and now the Baptists are looking for allies. Truly monumental - and a long time in coming. While fundamentalist religious factions such as our were busy throwing barbs, etc at each other, the enemy gained ground. Now we divert our attention away from the in-fighting only to discover we are getting flanked by the enemy. Oh, our awful situation!
Here is the article:

I was recently musing, much to the annoyance of my wife, about the possibility of the church loosing it's tax exempt status because of it's unyielding stance on no sex without being married and marriage only being between a male and female. We also discussed the possibility of senior church leaders being thrown in jail for violations of various "hate speech" laws; and the possibility of church communications systems being blocked or shut down to help "preserve peace and public order." The courts are already forcing merchants to violate their moral convictions or be shut down. [Which I believe is vastly different than the Lester Maddox restaurant decision.] Interesting times we live in.
