Full retraction. I never want to be guilty of character assassination. (Apparently) The previous article that was apparently an expose on his "teachings" was false. Or the retractions were from the Vatican public relations dept - not sure who in this day and age when you can scrub stuff. I swear I heard this when it originally came out on mainstream news, so I put it out there when I saw it in print form.
I would rather be safe than sorry and eat crow - that may not necessarily be on the menu. I would rather not face a person in the judgment if they were not truly what I had reported. And I don't like being wrong. I read a lot of stuff so that I can get it right when a call has to be made.
Oh, and if the Mexican "prophet" is right, wear tennis shoes under your white vestments so you can sprint away from the trouble that is supposedly coming to the peninsula this year.....
I am pulling that blog piece until I hear definitively one way or the other. I do not trust snopes. It is part of the left wing disinformation organ, so I avoid it, generally speaking.
