If you have read the Book of Mormon, Visions of Glory and many of the revelations that have been featured on this blog, you will see that in the past, entire cities have been swallowed in the earth or sunken in the sea. Spencer and many others talk of what is coming on the coast and the changes that will come about.
Nothing or little is saved when an entire civilization is overthrown. When things are destroyed, it is often utter and complete. To the point that sometimes it is hard to reckon the scriptural account and the physical record. Sodom and Gomorrah is probably one of the best examples. I personally believe that God likes to hide much of it from before His face - and possible the earth herself colludes in the process, if I am reading Moses correctly.
There is little left of the Minoans, destroyed by EQ and volcanic action - so much, that according to the previous post, we only were able to dig them out around 1900. So, as I always say, if you want to survive into the Millennium and have a massive posterity by virtue of an unfettered period of propagating by the chilluns, surround yourself with many good people and increase your odds of not being buried alive, earthquaked, or burned into oblivion. Your odds will be enhanced. It is not survival of the "fittest", it is survival of the "spiritual fittest". Darwin was off. Way off......
Why do you put so much stock in the Visions of Glory. You accept it like it's Gospel. I've tried reading it and I just can't get into it. Just wondering. I enjoy alot of your posts!
