NO MAN KNOWS THE HOUR - DEBUNKED

This is a long time in coming.  And I think it is one of the greatest doctrinal faux pax made by most members of the Church, including myself up until recently.  It was also made by one of my favorite doctrinarians, S. Kent Brown, in this wonderful Matthew 24 discourse:

Most say no one can know the hour that Christ comes to Jerusalem.  I have said many times to so many people, FIDDLE STICKS!!

When we get reports of the two prophets fallen in the streets, we know we are on the 84 hour (3.5 days) count until Christ sets His foot on the Mount of Olives, raises the two prophets and redeems the remaining inhabitants of that sacked city.

We are less than 3 years away from that event if the latest intelligence of this blog is correct.  I believe it to be so.  At the same time, the US will be sacked and we will not be operative - but I suspect that our leader will continue or ensure the survival of the agenda of the adversary.  I am not entirely sure how it will all work out.  I do know that he is doing the bidding of the d'evil.  ALL that he has done either weakens or outright destroys freedom or the core principles of this nation.  Then there is the timing.  If Christ comes in 2016-2017, then who is the A/C who precedes Him?  There is always a fake messiah that jumbles and confuses the message before Christ sends a true messenger.

 So, there you have it.

Here is the text of Matthew 24 that spells out the end; and it does clearly spell out that the end that it is speaking of are after the 144,000 have done the gathering out from the four corners of the earth and Father has declared the work complete (in other words - that there is nothing else that He can do to save any more of His wayward children - and the balance will be consumed by fire so that the remaining righteous can live out 1,000 years in peace and security).

24 For there shall arise afalse bChrists, and cfalse prophets, and shall shew great dsigns and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall edeceive the very felect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the asecret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the alightning cometh out of the beast, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be agathered together.
29 ¶Immediately after the tribulation of those adays shall the bsun be cdarkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the asign of the Son of man in bheaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth cmourn, and they shall see the dSon of man coming in the clouds of heaven with epower and great fglory.
31 And he shall send his aangels with a great sound of a btrumpet, and they shall gather together his celect from the four winds, from one end of dheaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the afig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that ait is near, even at the bdoors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This ageneration shall not pass, till all these bthings be cfulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall apass away, but my bwords shall not cpass away.
36 ¶But of that aday and bhour knoweth no man, no, not the cangels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of aNoe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the aflood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Just as the Great Flood (baptism by water) was total and consuming upon all the face of the whole earth, so shall the baptism by fire be - it will be total and consuming upon all the face of the whole earth.  It will not be the local (fire) event that Jerusalem shall be when the armies of Gog and Magog and all who are gathered against Jerusalem - where all their forces are consumed and it takes seven years to bury the dead and dispose of the weapons of war.  This is a different event that encompasses the whole earth.

Incidentally, this event after Gog and Magog will eliminate most all of the military weaponry on the face of the planet that is up and running at that point.  This will be a nice segue into the millennial peace and bliss we are all looking for.  Without weapons and the sophisticated global network that has been built up to produce them, they simply cannot be made after that point as the global networks dissolve into chaos.  I work for the largest aerospace company in the world - and have witnessed one small glitch (like the Sendai, JP EQ) cause disruptions into our supply chain.  Something on a magnitude of 100 or 1,000 times that, would bring the entire process to a halt.  That very thing will happen by the end of 2015.  The scale of the event will boggle the mind.

  1. So many members seem to be so confused about the timing of the coming of Christ when we have the information right in front of us, especially as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints, we have the most information than any other people on earth about this period and we seem to be wholly ignorant of it.
I understand the need to “just get it over with” thinking, but end times is a process not an event filled with a bunch of events that just all of a sudden happen.
To begin with, ever since the LDS church was formed in the early 1800’s, and through out most of the 1800’s most all religions as well as LDS saw Christ’s coming as immanent, with out even the return of the Jew’s to Israel. To begin with folks’, I don’t see any temple in Jerusalem for Christ’s return. There are no 144,000 special High Priests with great power set apart to bring the world to repentance one last time, with 1200 from each tribe because the Ten Tribes. And of course there has to be a return of the Ten Tribes from where ever they are to fulfill this prophecy. Let us not forget that the North American Continent must be cleansed of all wickedness in preparation for the New Jerusalem and the return of the Ten tribes. The Ten Tribes come with their own record, which means they know who they are, - they are not among us. It has always been a constant in God’s dealings with man to separate peoples to prevent them from all being corrupted.
When they come they will bring gifts with them – could be technology to assist in rebuilding America. In any case it requires “TIME “ to rebuild the cities and towns and for the people on this continent to become acclimatized to the Kingdom of God on earth before you can have 12,000 from each tribe, not to mention we need significantly more Jews to join the church in order to bring about such a number.
It is the cleansing that we should be prepared to deal with at this time most of us may never be around in a physical body when Christ comes – or at least it will not come within the next 10 or 40 or 100 years easily; our great challenge is the cleansing where we must perfect ourselves in our faith in Gospel principals and the Constitution to establish the Kingdom of God on earth in order to have a people capable of producing these 144,000 individuals that will have powers and faith as some of our greatest prophets in the past.
There are so many things yet to take place in this end times process of removing the scum, disobedient and unbelievers off of this land, and much of it is for the good on this continent. It is a very short while where many of us alive, if we survive the cleansing – a type and shadow of Christ’s coming.

  2. [Hi, TWZ. Saw this interesting piece on the net. Also Google "Matt. 24:22 Scares Pretribs."]

    PRETRIB RAPTURE STEALTH !

Many evangelicals believe that Christ will "rapture" them to heaven years before the second coming and (most importantly) well BEFORE Antichrist and his "tribulation." But Acts 2:34, 35 reveal that Jesus is at the Father's right hand in heaven until He leaves to destroy His earthly foes at the second coming. And Acts 3:21 says that Jesus “must” stay in heaven with the Father "until the times of restitution of all things” which includes, says Scofield, “the restoration of the theocracy under David’s Son” which obviously can’t begin before or during Antichrist’s reign. ("The Rapture Question," by the long time No. 1 pretrib authority John Walvoord, didn't dare to even list, in its scripture index, the above verses! They were also too hot for John Darby - the so-called "father of dispensationalism" - to list in the scripture index in his "Letters"!)
Paul explains the “times and the seasons” (I Thess. 5:1) of the catching up (I Thess. 4:17) as the “day of the Lord” (5:2) which FOLLOWS the posttrib sun/moon darkening (Matt. 24:29; Acts 2:20) WHEN “sudden destruction” (5:3) of the wicked occurs! The "rest" for "all them that believe" is also tied to such destruction in II Thess. 1:6-10! (If the wicked are destroyed before or during the trib, who'd be left alive to serve the Antichrist?) Paul also ties the change-into-immortality “rapture” (I Cor. 15:52) to the end of trib “death” (15:54). (Will death be ended before or during the trib? Of course not! And vs. 54 is also tied to Isa. 25:8 which Scofield views as Israel's posttrib resurrection!) It's amazing that the Olivet Discourse contains the "great commission" for the church but not even a hint of a pretrib rapture for the church!
Many don't know that before 1830 all Christians had always viewed I Thess. 4’s “catching up” as an integral part of the final second coming to earth. In 1830 this "rapture" was stretched forward and turned into an idolized separate coming of Christ. To further strengthen their novel view, which evangelical scholars overwhelmingly rejected throughout the 1800s, pretrib teachers in the early 1900s began to stretch forward the “day of the Lord” (what Darby and Scofield never dared to do) and hook it up with their already-stretched-forward “rapture.” Many leading evangelical scholars still weren’t convinced of pretrib, so pretrib teachers then began teaching that the “falling away” of II Thess. 2:3 is really a pretrib rapture (the same as saying that the “rapture” in 2:3 must happen before the “rapture” ["gathering"] in 2:1 can happen – the height of desperation!). Google "Walvoord Melts Ice" for more on this, and also Google "Pretrib Rapture Pride."
Other Google articles on the 183-year-old pretrib rapture view include “X-Raying Margaret,” "Margaret Macdonald's Rapture Chart," "Pretrib Rapture's Missing Lines," "Edward Irving is Unnerving," "The Unoriginal John Darby," "Catholics Did NOT Invent the Rapture," "The Real Manuel Lacunza," “Thomas Ice (Bloopers),” “Wily Jeffrey,” “The Rapture Index (Mad Theology),” “America’s Pretrib Rapture Traffickers,” “Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism,” “Scholars Weigh My Research,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” "Appendix F: Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy," “Deceiving and Being Deceived,” "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty," "Famous Rapture Watchers," and "Morgan Edwards' Rapture View" – most by the author of the bestselling book “The Rapture Plot” (the most accurate and documented book on pretrib rapture history which is obtainable by calling 800.643.4645).
