NO MAN KNOWS THE DAY, NOR THE HOUR - SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT

I am responding openly to several comments that came while I have been at Girl's Camp with my wife.  I do not mind contrarian views or opinions if they are respectful (these were) and truly seek to find a common ground or understanding.  I do have to say, though.  I have a teen who is a real pain in the neck and does not take the contrarian POV to flesh out an answer - but just to cause contention.  Boy do I struggle with that.....

There is a lot of confusion out there on knowing the day and the hour of Christ's coming.  Folks, its so fundamental, you will kick yourself.  I have made several posts stating that the Second Coming of Christ is multi-part and that you WILL indeed know the exact hour of His coming to Jerusalem.  Its exactly (give or take a few, so we do not hem the Lord in) 84 hours after you read the full-page headline that the two Prophets have died in the streets of Jerusalem.  Three and a half days - go read it.  We know the exact hour and possibly down to the minute once we know there is no longer a pulse on those two servants of God.

What we do NOT know is the exact hour when Christ comes in glory and wipes the wicked off the face of the earth (the fourth or fifth event in the sequence), using fire.  Yes, I am sure there will be a little fire used to take care of things over in Jerusalem, but I am talking generally (earth-wide).  That is the one after the 144,000 have had a chance to take care of business and all peoples (including the heathen - Chinese, etc) have had their shot at getting it.  That will be when the New Jerusalem will be caught up to the heavens during the sweeping action (if you are a evangelical, this is your rapture).

This is the billboard main event everyone is talking of.  People have to get their events/sequencing straight or it will be a confusing ride for them.  If you are not LDS, your narrative is somewhat truncated, so you will have to act on faith that myself and modern Prophets are not leading you astray.

One last thing, I have gotten another false notion in a comment that the two Prophets are not hanging out in the streets of Jerusalem, so this second 1260 day notion must not be correct.  The scriptural narrative says they will stay the armies for the second period and will subsequently die in the streets of Jerusalem.   I am sure their role will become apparent once the armies are bearing down on Jerusalem, and once the famine, plagues, etc get their game on to begin the final process of wiping the wicked off the face of the earth.  Just as Nephi in the Book of Mormon seemed to play a low-profile role while he was given power over heaven and earth to effect the repentance process on the people via famine, etc, so might these two have a low-profile role until necessity dictates otherwise.  I suppose the pharaoh will send his "magicians" to counter God's miracles, as well.  People who have no faith, testimony or knowledge of men and things pertaining to what is coming will simply be confused, led astray and will be filled with fear.

Last of all, there were some concerns that there is too much to do in so short a period of time.  First of all, think back to what you were doing in December 2009.  Think about all the major life milestones that you have passed since then - how much water has gone under the bridge.  You have that long to go til the clincher happens in September 2016.  Once things are rolling, you WILL NOT have time to catch your breath.  It will be relentless until the final event.  You will be in awe.  Remember what Spencer had to say in Visions of Glory and Sols Cuardisto in the Cardston Temple prophecy.  These things will happen in rapid succession - if you wait until its too late, it will be everlastingly too late.

God bless you with inspiration in your preparations.

  2. "too late, it will be everlastingly too late." What exactly do you think is the most important thing to do now...before it is too late? You talk of preparing a lot, so I know I can go through your blog and find out what you have said. But what is the most important thing to do? Also the leaders of the church have said a lot that it is "more important how we live than where we live." Does anyone have that quote?

  3. I appreciate your blog. Have you given thought to the military truck that Spencer describes? If that truck is commonly in production and used by China when the quake occurs, we are many years away from the quake. Probably 10 or 20. That truck is a vast leap ahead of where we are today in terms of vehicle production. It is possible that the truck wasn't earthly, however, perhaps a gift form God. However, carbon fiber, four-axle trucks with solar panels like that are a long ways away--which would put Tribulation that far out as well.

  4. Repent of high-mindedness for having put the counsel of our leaders at naught for so long. For thinking we know better than they do. Our arrogance is our downfall....
