I have seen person after person struggle to resolve what to do if things really do descend into chaos, as it appears they may well be doing on a social and political level nationally and internationally. I always wonder what it would have been like to have been alive in 1937, then 1941 and on as things deteriorated internationally and then WWII started and then eventually ground its way to its completion. I watch with wonder what it was like on V-day 1945. People could finally "get on" with their lives and settle back down and begin to make families and future plans once again. What a relief it must have been. No one likes war - even most nazis or Japanese citizens did not. Most people, of a truth, just want to live their lives. Much like childbearing, you can feel its impending clutch - and know you cannot ignore it and must pass through it to get to the good stuff you know is at the end of the event.
Many might despair with the uncertainty, etc that they must pass through. Despair and fear arise from a single source - and it is not of God..... Some wonder if the trials will be too much. Spencer seemed to indicate that it was unbearable for many who were of little faith. This is the patience of the Saints. I am an eternal optimist - and say that we should look beyond the mark and focus on what is coming after the trial - since most on this blog know the end from the beginning. Picture yourself, holding that precious bundle of joy, so to speak. When uncertainty is upon you, live for what comes after the uncertainty. Always focus on the wisdom of knowledge that after the trial, comes the blessings. Focus and hone your skills today for use after the event. My daughter is going to school to study to become a Civil Engineer. Her concern is that all of her efforts towards her education will come to naught if this stuff goes down as anticipated. I tell her, "fiddlesticks - you can use that knowledge to be a better mother with increased knowledge of the physical world that you can use to open the eyes of your children and you can use that same knowledge to build up after the destruction is complete." Engineers will be in demand in some form or another. Doctors (except for labor and delivery) and lawyers - not so much..... I have a friend who is into gardening and who is doing a great work in helping others to learn how to turn their back yard into food production. She has found her role - and I picture her in the camps of Zion teaching many how to efficiently turn a small plot of land into food for their families. She will be a captain over many who are over many. Many of us are being guided in how to find our niche in what is coming. Many of us will be angels of mercy in helping those who were less prepared to find hope and necessary skills to take care of their families.
So, I would never despair. Always do as much as you can do to spiritually and physically prepare and then simply leave the rest in the Lord's hands. Things always have a habit to work themselves out if we maintain our optimism and our faith.
One last note, I do not believe that the great EQ will happen this year. It just seems way too soon - but that is just me; and that could simply be wishful thinking. I have been wrong before. Find out for yourself.
I thought the Ogden temple in your dream was under construction when you saw the nuke go off? When is the Ogden temple going to completely finished?
ReplyDeleteI thought you might be interested in this blog. The guy who dissected the scripture has some good point about the coming of Christ:
