I have been seeing many things in the news that seem to say that this guy nailed it. There are many who say he was a charlatan. I think he had a gift.
First, I think its just a matter of time before Rio Tinto (owner of the Kennecot Mine) mining engineers do the calculations on their new reality and decide that its time to throw in the towel and close the mine instead of trying to rehabilitate it. The second point is that the stock market just topped 15,000 - just after breaking records for topping 14,000 many weeks ago. Koyle said it would rise up as if it were on stilts - and then collapse when the financial collapse occurs. I am not sure about this next one, but Brazil is experiencing a famine in their NE interior where I served a mission back in the late 1980's:

When I was there, the favelas (slums) of the coastal cities were burgeoning due to all the people who had fled from the drought-stricken interior areas in 1983-1987. There were not enough missionaries at the time to penetrate the interior to the smaller areas, so the Lord moved them and humbled them so we could teach them in concentrated numbers in the big cities. I never look at a disaster (on a global scale) as a bad thing - just an opportunity for God to positively affect as many people as He can using the finite resources that he has. So, why does this matter? I tie it into the same weird weather patterns that we had during the 1983-1984 year in the US (remember the flooding in Utah and the canoe on State Street?) as well as the related drought in Somalia, etc. I think we are in a similar weather pattern which may tie into a secondary visitation of the Koyle prophecy regarding wacky weather just as things totally collapse financially.
Time will tell. A huge (unprecedented) crop failure coming about by the end of this summer will pretty much be the nail in the coffin on that one, for me.
