Okay - this is a rant. If you don't like these kinds of things, you might want to take the next exit....
If I could change one thing when it comes to what I am doing for my kids' physical health, it would be ridding this world of GMO's. For their spiritual health, it would be getting rid of Hollyweird.
When dropping the hammer and deciding to move to MT to a small farm, our intent was several fold:
1) Get away from the west coast where people have lost common sense. In MT, people still get the fact that if you put a bull in the pasture with another bull, in 15 years or so, there will be two dead bull carcasses in the pasture...... No progeny - nature and God are not stupid; people who simply do not have the Spirit or any brains are deluded.... The Montanans simply don't buy the ridiculous arguments of "gay marriage" - no matter how the "Sh_ _ with whipped cream on top" is served up. Sorry, the people in Washington will likely pass the gay marriage thing here in one day and I have to deal with it..... The rest of this nation that buys the notion will be slapped down, purged and destroyed. NY and Jersey that generally supports that kind of stuff and offers Broadway plays mocking God's chosen servants just found that out. Sorry to the innocent people there - but find a place where you can surround yourself with other people who are attempting to strive and get yourself out of it to save yourselves from what further is coming. People call it the effects of climate change, I call the effects of sin and the just recompense of a just and pissed off Father and a Mother Earth who won't take the further debased actions of a legion of parasites on Her surface.
2) Be able to be more self-sufficient and surround ourselves by those who are like-minded. I would say most in the valley are that way to some degree or another - in and out of the Church. There are four critical things that must be attended to in taking care of the physical needs of a family; roof overhead/shelter from the elements, heat, water, food that can be repeatably grown season after season. We set up the farm to meet all those needs. Heat really concerned me, so we set up a good stove in the basement that could keep all three levels comfortable in the coldest temps and could be cooked on in the most dire of circumstances. As part of the house negotiation, we had a new well pump put in. I then ordered a Simple Pumps hand pump that will pump from up to 300 feet down and installed that along with the 12VDC electric head option that will run off the truck batts. It will pressurize the house's system, as well using the existing bladder pressure tank. For some period of time, any source of water that comes from an open reservoir will be poisoned and power to pump from a naturally filtered underground system will be non-existent. Large populations will be drinking and cleaning themselves and clothes from the open rivers and will suffer greatly because they cannot exist on the water sources readily available that are safe. Diarrhea is a kid killer - and will take out many adults. I have about 10,000 doses of Immodium AD that will save thousands of lives in critical emergencies. The cholera was probably the single-greatest killer of the Saints when they were tossed out of Missouri and had to camp and live in unhygienic conditions until homes, privies, kitchens and secure food sources could be had the next spring and summer.
One of the needful things I have stored up is copious amounts of aviation-grade aircraft cabling and clamps so that make-shift "bullet buckets" can be put together with PVC tubes in order to get water out of 6" cased wells for critical gatherings of the survivors. It would be a full-time occupation for kids to get the water out of the hole, 4 gallons at a time, but there would be water to drink, nonetheless.... The food is the standard full pantry, etc and ability to can your own from what would come out of a very large garden that provides fresh eating and enough to store for the winter months.
3) This is the one that is the object of this post - and one I am VERY hot about right now after seeing THIS documentary. I have zero experience in this type of science as far as formal class work goes - and I am sure some of it is pushing an agenda and possibly overstating a few things - but I know that a majority of it is spot on. I have seen too much anecdotally and logically to see it as anything other than the truth. For the longest time, when I was under chronic stress from dealing with my wife's "bi-polar" condition that was actually a B-12 deficiency due to cranking out three babies in rapid succession after we lost our Dallin, I had crippling joint pain to the point I could barely walk. I also struggled with bowel irritability for years. I attributed it to the stress I was under and to having almost died from e-coli down in Brazil where I lost 35 pounds in 7 days (alot of it water....). Some of the symptoms being related to stress was true, I am sure.
And then, I started to eat from our garden in MT as I cycled back and forth between work and farm life this last summer. I noticed all the joint pain and intestinal problems would begin to clear up within around 3 days of being over there and eating a virtually GMO-free lifestyle. I would leave the farm for work and things would return to "normal". Where I had to be away from Montana for a longer period, things would get worse than when the stint was shorter. Could it be?? Is there a connection?? I do not know for sure, but after seeing the initial findings on this GMO trash years ago, we decided we needed to embark on this path and embrace it 100%. I eventually would like to raise my own beef/milk etc when I can dedicate myself 100% to the effort. The bottom line, is that it takes alot of work and effort - and sharing among people to make it happen. You have to be committed to the concept in order to make it work. Sometimes, the best way to do things is to involve the extended family, Waltons-style in order to pool resources, save money and split the work of running a small self-sufficient operation. I honestly do not believe it can be done alone - at least without a super-human effort. We have a neighbor on the other side of our north fence who is selling his beautiful home/mini-ranchette a few houses down from our hippie-chick preparedness superwoman lady who just moved in from Utah. I believe the huge house has a walk out basement that borders on our mutual creek and may be affordable right now. Our home was worth about $850K at the peak, and we picked it up for $304K. It was cashed out and improved with money from investments and 401Ks which Obummer threatened to "nationalize" anyway in the future to pay off our ridiculous national debt and hand me a worthless piece of IOU paper in return. NO THANKS! OH, AND TALK TO THE HAND ON THAT ONE - I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK TO BE PRINTED OUT IN 20 YEARS..... So, we collectively sunk it all into something that would provide the four basics and that the da_ _ _ _ banks cannot get their hands on. I sleep alot easier at night, now.
If it is not clear to people now that things are going to collapse and make you dependent on someone else to provide those four things for your family, I am sorry for you...... When you have starving children, or are living in some kind of a government camp and have a choice to buckle down and do as you are told (accept a mark for tracking purposes, or get tossed out or worse), you will be a slave in every literal sense of the word. Slaves do not have agency. It will be a bitter day for those charged with the protection and care of their children who were awake and who knew better. Do what you need to do and do it now while there is still time to operate.
Here is the YOUTUBE that a reader shared that got me spun up (followed by my commentary):

This
kind of stuff just hacks me off. How can anyone with any kind of a
conscience work for Monsanto, anyway. Apparently, they do not even feed
their own employees the GMO food in their company cafeterias. That is
wrong - if I were running the show, I would make this stuff stop, round
these SOBs up and throw them in prison and feed them this garbage to
them for the rest of their lives with no attendant healthcare to take
care of all the problems they would have. I would be brutal!!
You do not mess with people's health - especially the children who can do no better or are dependent on adults who are too lazy or complacent to care. If you knew you have a sick neighbor who was handing out candy to your kids that was laced with poison that would slowly kill them over time, would you sit back and do nothing or just grab the bat, your ski-mask hat and get your vigilante on? I know what I would do as a father - and I do believe in forgiveness and the power of the atonement. I also believe it social pressure on scum - and would do the right thing..... Let the chips fall where they may. Would I rely on the process? What process?? These corrupt sacks cycle back and forth between the regulatory bodies that supposedly provide oversight and corporations like Monsanto that are providing the poison pills......
Why would we do any less with the chumps at Monsanto??
Pass this stuff on. Rage against the machine!
Near the end, it will appear as if the "machine" has won, but they will be destroyed - along with anything or anyone that has provided support to them.
According to Mother Mary Shipton's prophecies that I have featured on this blog, there is a reason that a new land will be thrust up from the ocean bottoms that will be free of the garbage we have done to our own lands. I rode the Amtrak to Montana last summer with a guy from Wenatchee, WA who is a retired teacher and grew up as an orchardist. He told me that they attempted to build a new elementary school over there on an old orchard site (had been used for 50 years, or so) and could not do it without first removing the top two feet of soil and trucking fresh soil in from elsewhere as a replacement because it was so heavily laced with heavy metals from all their pesticide spraying. That "farmland" was so toxic, it could not pass the EPA standards for basic human habitation!! Even if a farmer decided to go "organic", the soil the trees were planted on were still pulling up gads of cadmium, lead and chromium among other heavy metals that were entrenched in the soil. Things are definitely sideways. We need a massive solution to massive problems..... largely caused by people who just care about making a buck - and then charging you for the cure to fix 'your' problem.
Lord come quickly!
you should look into part 2 of monasano. the big wigs there are often given top presidential positions. . . and vise vera. you have monasano making us sick, and big pharma pushing pills to fix what the pesticides have done.
ReplyDeleteon another subject bee hive collapse may be caused by bees feeding on geniticly modified plants, pesticides, and forcing bees to make un naturally large hive cells. allow bees to make cells naturally, leads to a smaller bee that is healthier...and better able to fight diseases. i saw you are doing hives, if you havent already, you might look into natural, low intervention bee keeping.
